Kellys Motel Oakey

we had family room, so the beds took up most of the space; but they were quite comfortable. Although we ate out, the kitchenette was wxcellently resourced with many cooking appliances & plenty of crockery.

Clean, quiet and everything worked

nothing, all fine

Ok location taps drip sharp edges on floor tiles

I think it was massively overpriced for the standard to the accomodation.

Property very tired and very noisy especially in the morning when everyone in their trucks were going off to work or talking loudly on the veranda. The shower was dreadful and required precision temp control.

That the host changed my room without me having to ask when the neighbours were a bit noisy with their new years eve

Comfortable clean and peaceful thank you

Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

Shower head sprayed water up the wall and all over the floor etc, great water pressure though and also no wifi, families need wifi these days with devices etc

Close to RSL club.

Finicky door lock which staff said was due to be replaced.

Great location and very comfortable room for 4 of us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and kitchen were very clean.

Wifi was a little patchy but was fine for what we needed

Location is very central. Beds are comfortable.

Little out dated.

Spacious and very clean room.

The heater/air-conditioning was super loud.

Kelly's is right on edge of the town centre, so everything was within walking distance (Pool, library, corner takeaway, chinese restaurant, RSL, etc) or less then 2-5 minutes drive (Foodworks/IGA, train station, Army/Airforce base), which worked well with keeping my 11yo occupied. We were very glad of the reverse cycle air con, we arrived in time for a cold snap and had -3 temps on the first 2 days. Both the lady on reception & the housekeeping lady were absolutely lovely, we had a great stay overall.

Our room didn't have the best access to the free wifi, it was ok for the smaller stuff (Facebook, google, etc) but was a little slow for the zoom call I had to make (I had about a 4 second delay in my image, which was amusing at least).

Good location.

Not the best atmosphere, had issues with power points. And was offered an extension cord to run power from outside the room

Most of the facilities were fine but my electrics on my tow bar was stolen. I only noticed it when I got to the next town.

Security, as mentioned previously electric connection from tow bar was nicked.

It was just "ok"

Confusion with the booking and having to move rooms because of the owners mistake. Rooms were in need of smartening up. For the price, it was a bit concerning

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Nil.

good location, neat and clean

Toilet cistern made an odd noise - needed a little tap to get it quiet

Reception was very friendly & helpful on arrival our room was spotless clean, comfortable bed & large hot shower which was great after our long drive. Thanks will stay again

Convenient location, easy of parking, value for money

Nothing, just be careful checking in, they get grumpy if you leave door to reception open so dog gets out.

Everything was just great, the rooms were lovely and clean, very helpful staff and a beautiful breakfast.

Nothing, everything was great.
