Pros +
- The waterpark, pool, restaurant and kids areas. Kids eat free with 2 adult meals on certain days.
- Breakfast, pool, garden, eels, pond. Excellent service
- The water park was good for our 1 year old, not too deep and small slides were perfect. The breakfast team are awesome and very accomodating, they were all lovely and welcoming
Cons -
- Main issue was the faulty fire alarm which went of 3 times on our first night there. The remainder of our stay was in fear of being woken by the faulty alarm again at some ungodly hour. There was no communication from the resort staff regarding the issue and no apology for the fright etc. After talking with some of the other holiday makers the alarm had been going off randomly days before also. Second to that the pillows were horrible and lumpy - in need of replacement. The sheet, doona, sheet set up on the beds was again uncomfortable and had too much movement. There was a broken glass in the room and no useful appliances in the room apart from a kettle. The restaurant was overpriced considering the local tavern had similar meals for min $5-10 less.
- We booked an executive king room and agreed to pay the rate as per the photos advertised on booking.com, when we went to the room we realised we were downgraded to an Accessible Room. We did not ask for an accessible room. They have no shower screens so they’re accessible for wheelchair users. This makes the whole room wet. Our 1 year old slipped many times and it was very unsafe. The toilet also had no lid, making it easy for the toddler to put things in there. When I went to reception to ask for more towels to clean the water up to stop my toddler from slipping, I asked why we were given a downgrade to an accessible room and was met with a very condescending reception team. They said they don’t advertise their accessible rooms and we were just unlucky to have been put in that room. They offered housekeeping to come and clean up but that’s a little unrealistic as we use the shower multiple times a day and as per booking.com, we would have had to pay extra for housekeeping to come in, so I refused. Housekeeping seemed to have come in anyway without our permission. When checking out I was asked “how was your stay” and I answered “a little disappointing” and the same condescending receptionist from the day before started discussing me to her colleague as if I wasn’t there “oh she booked a king room and isn’t happy with the bathroom”. The woman who checked me out was nice though. $426 is what we paid for a room we didn’t agree to pay $426 for. The room I booked offered an “extra large double bed” so a king… and we got 2 twin beds zipped up together. So a pretty uncomfortable sleep. The cupboard with all the cutlery, crockery and glasses was all located under hip level, perfect for a wheelchair user, inconvenient for a family with a toddler. We had to take everything out so it’s not broken. When doing so, the mugs and spoons were still dirty from the last guest. Yuck.

It’s family friendly and has lots of activities to keep the kids entertained
There was an issue with the fire alarm system and it kept going off and scared our kids and woke us up multiple times.
The overall ambiance of the property was great. Family oriented and the waterpark is fantastic.
The food was average for breakfast and dinner. We sort food elsewhere instead for our stay.
The location was amazing and the facilities available during our stay were perfect for a family holiday. So convenient to be able to dine where we were staying, we didn't have to leave the hotel! We will absolutely be staying again for all of our family holidays.
Resort keeps family occupied while I'm off doing jobs. Has everything you need, anything else, you can get within walking distance. Staff are nice, rooms are clean
No smart TV. Wish there was room service (yes lazy I know). Toilet facilities at the swim park and overflow parking.
Great location, good facilities, best for families with young kids (<10 years).
Given the resort is mainly targeting families with young kids, the rooms shuld include 2 single beds rather than the extra double bed.
Waterpark is the best attraction.Pool timing till 10pm is a big thumbs up
Breakfast should include live counters
Room was comfortable and reception staff amazing.
Restaurant was a let down went for a nice getaway for anniversary and valentines day and food was not the best main meal not really edible so was given dessert for replacement and had eggshels in it. Then went for breaky and food was cold.
Location and facilities for the kids.
Dirty room. Multiple dead cockroaches, dirty glasses (still with the plastic stickers from the store on them) and hair that didn’t belong to us in the bed.
Would be great for kids, clean rooms, good facilities and well sized bathroom
No information about restaurant being booked out at check in… then tried to book on way to room only to be told this… room service doesn’t exist.. it’s pick up your own.Had an evacuation alarm, was shocking response by staff… elderly trapped in stairwell… no staff identifiable no evacuation plan. Room was noisy, no soundproofing, Upon leaving and mentioning this the front desk worker didn’t care, just said “oh yeah sorry” it was insincere. For almost $400 a night I would have expected more … would not recommend for singles or couples…
Good facilities for families. Lots of things to do for kids and central location.
Be careful around the pool deck. The timber gets very slippery. Our little one and myself slipped over a few times!
the location and the carparking. bed was comfortable
the room was very basic. the bathroom was a disabled bath room and no shower door and no benches.there was bird poo at the entry to the restaurant for 2 days
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The waterpark was a big hit with the kids.
They rooms could use an update. Ours had paint missing from the front door.
Reception staff great.Good value.Good room.
Needed 2 chairs on the verandah instead of one. Pool area looking bit run down.Pool bar drinks, food and general staff attitude pretty poor.Long way from anything but supermarkets.
Excellent location and facilities for family. Staff were super helpful with our late check in (24hr reception). Restaurant was really accommodating with buffet breakfast and dinner
Could benefit from a few more pathway lights from restaurant to rooms
Big rooms and great location
Bar was well over priced
Kids loved it, nice sized property, beautiful birds and pond
Pool area is aged and old along with the seating areas
The kids enjoyed the waterpark
* Very old. Needs a lot of love. It’s obvious that they aren’t pouring any money back into the resort. * You can’t access the jumping pillow until the waterpark opens at 9am. So there is nothing for the kids to do before 9am which at a family friendly resort is insane because kids are awake early* The climbing equipment is broken and looks like it has been blocked off for a while so doubt they have any plans to fix it * No seats or benches near the jumping pillow for the parents to sit even though there is plenty of room to put them * Majority of the sun lounges were old and worn and the stitching had come undone * We ordered food from the restaurant to pick up and take back to the room to eat. The food was terrible. The schnitzel and the nuggets were so overcooked no one ate them * The only place to get pool towels was at the water park. You could not get towels by the pool so if you just wanted to use the pool you would need to go into the waterpark for towels * There was an outdoor dining setting right near the pond that was always full of smokers so kids had to walk past cigarette smoke every time they needed to go anywhere. I didn’t see one no smoking sign anywhere * They hire out space in the waterpark for birthday parties taking up majority of the shady spots leaving nowhere for paying guests to sit out of the sun * No shade sails provided for the arrears in the sun. They need a lot more shade sails *It’s not close to an actual beach
