Stonewood Villas

It was a great home away from home while we were working. Enjoyed having the kitchen to be able to do some of our own cooking. Host/manager was very quick to respond to queries.

I left my Ipad at unit in what I thought was standby mode but apparently it was on the internet in my absence??? Got back after a day out and my ipad was blocked from the free internet as I had used my quota. Not a big deal but was a little frustrating (and I guess I should really be annoyed with ipad!).

Everything downstairs was fine.

Showers in two of the three rooms were either broken or did not work properly. Showers over baths is not a good idea. Baths were a little slippery for some. Remote control for TV in our room was not working.

Large rooms with two en-suites. Very clean.

Strong, sickening air freshener/chemical smell made the stay very unpleasant. Uncomfortable mattress with springs. Many maintenance jobs not completed - broken bathroom light, toilet roll holder and soap dish falling off.

We had an engagement party to attend and couldn’t hang our clothing properly The wall in the dining area is very marked and scuffed - needs repainting So many people in the pool it put our family off so we didn’t get to use it

It was easy to find. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfy unit.

Good location, very roomy close to beach and to the run my husband did.

The staff were so lovely, very accomodating. Great pool lots of wattle surrounding the pool. Such a lovely way to beat the heat. Would stay again. Great accomodation, great air conditioning!

Great place if you want to be able to cook at home when staying over. Spacious and clean

We went without hot water briefly. They rectified this extremely quickly once notified. Very happy with the service and our stay

Everything was clean and nice

The stairs were a bit of an inconvenience as our 1 and 2 year old kept trying to climb them.

The lounge was not real comfy but everything else was great unfortunately the washing machine was not working but staff got straight onto it.

Very pleasant and homely. Liked the fact there were 3 toilets. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Fridge worked very well. Water pressure was good.

The pool could have been more inviting. Top of exhaust fan in kitchen was dirty. Was expecting a double bed in the room that had 2 singles and was expecting bbq in courtyard of unit.

Hated the beds. Noone could sleep they are sooooo hard in every room. Would have rated an 8 if it wasn't for the beds

Only negative which is a big one - the beds were so hard and uncomfortable. Could feel the springs while lying on the mattress. An upgrade to the mattresses would give this a 10/10 rating.

Spacious accomodation in a nice quiet area. Having three bathrooms was great plus a toilet downstairs. Tv in each room plus one in the living area. Kitchen and laundry facilities. Car parking available.

Needs maintenance. Two air cons didn’t work on heating(it is winter! We tried to warm the living area and master bedroom). Some of us woke up cold during the night. In the main bedroom the sliding door into the ensuite was broken and we couldn’t shut it. The toilet seat in the same ensuite wasn’t attached properly. The blinds in the same bedroom were missing a section. The garage remote didn’t work. The beds were a bit hard. It was advertised as having cable tv. It didn’t and in one of the rooms the tv cord didn’t reach the power point. Paid a premium price for the weekend I think because of the event we were attending being on …we were disappointed in the value for money.

Good location, great size, bonus ensuites for both rooms, and downstairs toilet, wasn't expecting that. Check in was easy with the friendly staff member who greeted us.

Although we would definitely stay again, the apartment smelt funny downstairs, like a public restroom, was kinda gross, a cross between cleaning chemicals and smelly drains or something. Overall though the apartment was clean and generally well appointed, albeit starting to look a little tired, the shower slide in the bathroom is broken but it didn't affect its use, a few more kitchen things would have been good, as there is only minimal number's of everything. The one big knife is really blunt, and there is no smaller vegetable knife or peeler, so had to use the bread knife to peel and chop a cucumber, lol.
