Friendliness and location

Spacious room. Air con. Bed comfortable enough. Motel is well situated in terms of closeness to main shopping precinct, restaurant and cafes.

Noisy, especially from the train through the night and early morning and from adjoining rooms. Parking outside the rooms was tight. No powerpoint close to the sink in the bathroom for hair dryer, etc

The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. We arrived late but the after-hours check in was seamless. We appreciated that the interior light and heater was left on for us, making it a cosy arrival.

The bed was comfy and it was a very quiet location.It was close to the shops.

We would have liked more coffee pods. With only two, we could only have one cup of coffee each.

Large rooms, great shower.

Train line is close by.

Large & spacious. Very quiet, very clean & comfortable only $125 a night for 2 people.Double & 2 single beds, dining table & chairs, large TV (but minimal channels). Wi-fi, large bathroom, air conditioning turned on for arrival, tea & coffee, small fridge , microwave but no kitchen sink. Nice pub/bistro within walking distance open late. Staff contacted me by phone and left key in door. I left key in lockbox did not see any staff in my day and night. I was there but if you’re looking for nice clean, comfortable spacious and cheap accommodation 20 minutes out of Moss Vale this is the place to go very pretty scenery around the country roads as well. .

No actual staff contact. Only a couple of TV channels (but free Wi-Fi if you bring an iPad and watch YouTube or Netflix or Foxtel, if you have a subscription.)

Not quite the Sebel hotel but it was a half of the price.

Very close to the shops and railway station (5:mins walk). Room was large and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Quiet location (except for the odd passing train). Shower was hot and strong. I arrived late, so the manager phoned me with clear instructions on how to access my room.

Only two very small things. The WiFi was quite slow, but that didn't matter as I had good mobile reception. The shower head was not stable, and kept sagging when I was in the shower.

Value for money

Great position, roomy comfortable and very clean.

We stay here 4 or 5 times a year on our travels. For a great night’s sleep, rest and journey break the motel ticks all the boxes. Beds are most comfortable, rooms always clean, bathroom bigger and better than most motels and very friendly and welcoming staff. The setting of the motel is also for us perfect, close to the shops and very quiet. The trains that pass nearby aren’t an issue but for us adds to the charm and attraction of the motel and the Bundanoon district.

Lovely 1 night stay en route to Canberra, with a lovely host. Small mix up with keys that was sorted immediate - love Bundanoon and its people!

Nothing - it's a motel, so a bit noisy with the train but honestly - such a brilliant experience!

The location was perfect for doing some day trips as nothing was too far away. (Bowral, Berrima, Exeter, Kiama.)There was a great range of walks to do, some more challenging than others.The facilities, while basic, were good for an extended stay...having a microwave in the room was really good after a long day out exploring so I didn't have to go out for dinner.The location was quiet (apart from the trains but I actually got used to them after the first couple of nights!)It was a really pretty place to explore.The history was interesting.The staff were friendly and helpful....they lent me a coffee plunger so I could try the loose leaf tea that I bought at the Bundanoon Botanicals shop!

The water pressure in the shower was poor.The decor was quite dated.....a coat of paint and new carpet would really freshen it up. Plus the lounge (sofa bed?) was grubby and the seat collapsed when I sat down.The walls between the rooms are rather thin so you could here the people next door. (Although I did notice that on the nights when there weren't a lot of people staying, the staff spread everyone out so there were empty rooms between us.)It's a shame that there are so many empty shops downtown..

Close to town and the natural environment.The room had everything we needed and was spacious.

The room we booked (room 21) was an absolute delight to walk into and a pleasure to stay. Clean, fresh smelling and well appointedSpacious, apartment style room with 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a very spacious lounge area and a kitchen with everything needed
