Pros +
- Beautiful facilities, lovely outlook and really well maintained.

- Lots of areas to lounge around, you can sit by the pool even when it’s cool outside but also has outdoor lounges if you want to be in the sun. Everything was super easy and thought about by the staff to bring that next level of stay. Close to amazing walks and the pub. We used the bikes to ride to the pub.
Cons -
- Floors are a little thin, could hear everything the upstairs neighbours were talking about
- The cocktails were not great at all. Food was great but not suitable for lunch or a light bite. Very expensive. Poor choice for chips in the snack bar and staff forgot to restock the bar fridge with two bottles of water, only one.
- The property was fantastic. The only minus was at breakfast time when I wasn’t attended to for quite some time despite being the first one there.

The outdoor bath and view was fantastic.
The property was fantastic. The only minus was at breakfast time when I wasn’t attended to for quite some time despite being the first one there.
Loved the ambience, service and rooms. Beds super comfortable and food was delicious. Beautiful views overlooking the national park, was super peaceful.
Drinks menu somewhat limited.
Beautiful hotel. We only stayed one night as we were meeting up with my brother and his wife who had been there a couple of days with my elderly mother. My mother had an accessible room which was great for her. Wonderful service from a range of delightful staff. The dinner is the restaurant was fabulous. Not a cheap experience but an exceptional experience.
The views from our cabin were amazing - over the national park. The Fire restaurant serving Brazilian BBQ was authentic and excellent, as were the South American staff. We had the best time. 2 days seemed more like a week of rest.
The loose stone paths on the property can be difficult to walk along - because of slippage.
Property & accomodation was fab! A later check out would have been appreciated as it was a Monday. A staff member also told us some incorrect info about the facilities that were available to specific guest.
Beautiful location, accommodation and that forest sauna and ice bath!!
Superb
I thought the food would be more amazing like Tanuki. It was good ... but not amazing. The staff were great though. I thought the breakfast was pretty average. The salt and pepper shakers don't match the décor and didn't work. The spa facial and massage were great too. Perhaps if we knew ahead to book we could have got a more convenient time, so maybe sending out stuff to make sure you book before you come would be good as we only had 1 day. The pool was heavily chlorinated and smelt so strong , decided not to go in, as the chlorine smell in the room was overpowering. Loved the rooms, and the décor. overall a great stay.
My partner and I were instantly taken care from the moment we buzzed the front gate. The staff were incredibly engaging from our first meeting on the driveway where they collected our keys, gave us a wine and told us to relax during our checkin process. We loved that we had a printed itinery and we were explicitly told how to enjoy the property, maximising the experience! We can be picky, because we like nice things when investing in down time and Osborn house didnt disappoint. Most importantly we like that the staff are so approachable, attentive and willing to make your stay so enjoyable. We stayed for 1 night, and we felt like we stayed a week. It was such a relaxing, immersive property. The room was amazing, clean, well designed and the little touches made the biggest impacts. The bed so comfortable. The grounds beautiful, the rooms amazing. We could not find a fault, in anything. We thouroughly enjoyed sipping our complimentary spritz's in the hot tub enjoying the sunset and cant wait to return to do it again.
The restaurant we chose was Dhina's and we were left a little underwhelmed. The decor and style of the restaurant itself seemed a little bland compared to the common dining area and Georges. The menu itself was also a litte confusing, it was a set menu. In the middle of winter we were eating cold salad, and tomatos that were out of season. Confusingly we were able to select a main, but all other courses were set. The lamb dish made no sense being a second course, and it was just a really confusing dish in general. The wagyu beef was super underwhelming and didnt taste like wagyu at all. The deserts were also something I would expect in a hot summer. We thought we were going to a better dining experience than the common lounge area / georges and found ourselves wanting to be back in the warmth of Georges shortly after being taken to a cold, dark and dim Dhina's where the staff seemed to turn into junior, less experienced hospitality professionals. This is our only negative feedback for what was otherwise the best hotel experienece we have ever had.
We loved everything about Osborn House, the staff were fantastic and helpful, we got such a lovely greeting when we arrived. We ate dinner at George's which was delicious, its a great relaxed vibe. We stayed in a Forest Lodge which was gorgeous, had a great view, the bed was comfy and it was so lovely and warm with the fire going. It's the little things too, when we came back to our lodge after dinner, we found little hot water bottles in our bed to warm it up, we loved it and would definitely stay there again.
Nothing!
Everything! Such a stunning location and the staff were all amazing! Shout out to Emma specifically for being so personable. Also you must do a treatment at the spa it was beyond anything I've done before. So relaxing. 100% coming back again!
Nothing. It was perfect
It is the first place I’ve stayed in Australia that has felt like actual 5 star luxury, from the welcoming staff and service to the decor to the food
Nothing we didn’t like
We loved everything, from the first moment we arrived by car and opened our doorin the rain and we were welcomed with help and umbrellas. Loved the welcome aswe entered the House and the welcome drink, all very appreciated. The meals were all amazing and the breakfast was excellent.
Beautiful rooms , warm, seamless service, delicious food
The location was beautiful and an interesting part of the country.
The food was a bit disappointing, not up to the standard I would have expected from that quality of hotel.Breakfast had no "help yourself items" e.g. fruit, cereal - it was all to order, and that took a long time!
Breakfast was included and made to order—very generous portions. Numerous fresh and tasty options were a highlight and a great start to the morning. Fire feast is a must; the food is locally sourced and delicious.Every corner of the place is considered, cosy and quiet.
The sauna was a bit glitchy, and guests were unable to add water.
Great location, atmosphere, facilities. Staff were friendly, and helpful, if a little fresh to the role sometimes. Food was delicious. We stayed in the cabin, which was lovely and secluded.
A little overpriced.
This is an absolutely beautiful period property with staff who care and go the extra mile to help you fully unwind and settle in. We were impressed with the hotel dining, the stunning interior design and the quality of treatments at the spa. I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had! There are wonderful national park areas for walking nearby to top it off.
The only area we felt could be improved was the spa facilities, which need some repair and modernisation. We really wished we could get the sauna up to a high heat as we personally prefer it. This was a minor point in the scheme of a great overall visit though!
