Robertson Public House and Kitchen

The hotel is centrally located, with shops and amenities within easy walking distance. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side, but the food is excellent.

It would be even better if:1. Cleaning wipes were provided in the shared tea area so guests can wipe down the bench or fridge.2. A toaster and some plates could be provided, if possible.3. The right-hand bathroom door is difficult to open from the inside once locked and need repair.4. Hand towels and bathmats in the shared bathrooms could be changed daily (or twice daily), as they look very untidy.

Nicely decorated rooms. Loved having the pub downstairs and surrounding area is very pretty.

Beautifully renovated room . Accidentally booked a room without a bathroom but was impressed with the shared facilities. Gorgeous old pub atmosphere with super friendly locals. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Disco bingo was ao much fun

That was it next to a cafe didn’t have to walk far for breakfast.

Only one bathroom was renovated, door on one of the bathrooms was very short my friend smacked his head on the door frame. Dead flys in the window seals.

Easy location, as described, clean comfortable room, shared bathrooms tidy, food at the pub .. best parma and chips, take ear plugs bit of overnight traffic . Great stay thank you.

The location was perfect for what I needed to do while I was there. Having somewhere to eat on site was great and the food was delicious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Great little spot to stay. Comfy clean room, bathrooms also clean. Friendly service, great pub food as well. Would defy stay again.

Would have been nice to be able to open the window, but it was over 120 years old, so not really a biggie. Ceiling fan kept the air moving nicely.

Good location for our trip. Free car park. Nice pub food and atmosphere.

Communal areas- tea Coffee facilities, fridge and bathrooms were not very clean and no one checking them on regular basis. Other people’s hair on the floor and sink.

Gorgeous kitchen and rooms upstairs were quaint and clean. Felt like a lovely home that we dropped into to, and the kitchen/bar downstairs was great.

The pub had delicious food with reasonable prices. The room was comfortable and the shared fridge was very helpfull to keep food cold mid trip.

There are two shared bath rooms, They are newly renovated and quite good and clean. Room is clean too. overall everything met our expectation.

We were woke up at 3.AM because of the fire alarm, sure that nobody cooked or no fire happened that night. we had to get a stool and push the button to make it silence. I lost my sleep that night :(. Please fix it.

The fan in the room was over inch thick dust. Not cleaned at all.

Live band when playing downstairs was extremely loud in room but was done by 10:20pm.

The room was beautifully decorated and the beds lovely and comfortable. One of the bathrooms was modern and everything was very clean.

The toilet seat in the second bathroom needs to be replaced. The plastic is peeling.

I liked the central location/distance to where I needed to get to each day & the bed was cosy along with kettle,fridge it was clean & staff pleasant.

I disliked that there was no grill on the windows for insects to be kept outside & similarly in the bathrooms. The shower drainage & one attached to a bathtub. No microwave.

Characterful property. Unpretentious friendly pub atmosphere. Small rooms but comfy and clean

The staff and very nice and easy to talk to.The food and drink is very nice and bar is good.

The rooms are clean but the stairs up are steep the walls are all banged up from taking luggage up and down the stairs.There is 4 rooms we had 3 rooms booked.There is 2 tiolet shower rooms at bottom of hall that the 4 rooms share.1 shower room is clean and newly decor the other is old and needs the same doing to it.We can here the bar through the floor but it stops at 10pm but the traffic on the road you can hear very clearly through the poor windows and that road gets busy at 5am.Good for a workman one night stay over but that's it

Shared kitchenette w coffee / tea / water not serviced adequetely.Glasses & mugs needed repleneshing. No spoons to enable adding sugar the second night I stayed. NOISY - a function on downstairs; very noisy upstairs.
