Tahmoor Inn

Location was ideal for the purpose of our visit to the NSW Railway Museum at nearby Thirlmere.

The Inn is undergoing a lot of building work and the car park area has some pot holes and uneven ground.

breakfast was rice bubbles, nutrigrain or weetbix, and tea or coffee, not overly exciting. perhaps leave a bistro menu for guests. and a hotel information book.

the door lock was problematic, took me a while to work out how to lock the door, as the door wouldn't lock each time.there wasn't any way of contacting staff to sort the problem.

Everything especially the back yard view and close proximity to everything you need including a nice meal a cozy bed & comfort of my own home. I noticed the upgraded too which are great! Will be back.

Nothing it is a lovely place. Fell in love! All the comfort of your own home.

Water was cold on a very cold morning and did not warm up, needs to be addressed.

Convenient location with a nearby meal available and ample parking. It was clean

The smell of sewerage was out the front and also in my room.

The incredible, professional and very kind staff, looked after us so much. A huge thank you to Jeremy, Jim and the wonderful lady that accompanied Jeremy to our room, No 1. What a fabulous place to stay. I recommend Tahmoor Inn to everyone. You all made our stay that little bit extra.

It was convenient for my visit.

Cleaning - the room was stale smelling and cockroaches were running around. Cereal (which was compliemntary) was stale.

We were attending a wedding. the service from the staff was amazing.

Unfortunately this property needs some updating. I have paid less money for far better accommodation throughout Europe. this is probably the most disappointing accommodation I have stayed at since travelling just before Covid-19.

Good location in Tahmoor and friendly staff. Really need to fix the lock on the door - was very loose. Also, the light from outside glared into the room all night as you could not cover the window to the outside. Reasonable free breakfast in room but room rate was high for what you got.

Very noisy on Friday night with young people leaving the pub.

Lovely, welcoming staff in the hotel helped me settle in. Comfy bed with clean sheets and blankets. Nice and clean. A newly renovated bathroom with great water pressure for a much-needed shower at the end of my day. Quiet room away from any noise in the hotel. Cereal for breakfast included.

Rooms are tired with ageing curtains, carpets etc. Basic furniture. Not a glamorous location.

Lovely meal and terrific staff. Quiet room & comfortable. Loved meeting the goats on an adjacent yard after breakfast.

Couldn't fill large kettle in small basin.Perhaps a "key drop box" for folks who leave early.

Clean, out of the way place. Freshly done up with milk, cereal and juice for the morning. Nice touch. Lovely goats out the front. They obviously get fed by visitors as they rushed up to us when we arrived

Quiet accom, clean and great service. Great Inn at the property

Shower was clean but very small. Bed was pretty uncomfortable
