    Pros +

    • Disappointing experience for an expensive stay
    • Spacious villa room enough for family of 3, easy check in/out process. Close to main shops and restaurants. Enjoyed the use of the indoor pool
    • The location and the facilities were fabulous.

    Cons -

    • The villa was very dated with a mismatch of furniture / cushions etc. There was a very unpleasant smell throughout the villa which remained there for the duration of the stay. Wi-Fi in the villa was unavailable and when reported, staff response was that it was a known issue and to hotspot off our own mobile phones - this unfortunately wasn't an option as internet reception was terrible in the area. We had two sightings of red belly black snakes in the courtyard making this area unusable.
    • The kiddie pool was dated, not too clean
    • The Villa was lacking some comforts like extra blankets and kitchen items. But the staff were helpful.

Ability to play on the golf course

The villa was dated and kitchen did not have essential items such as a fry pan. 3 bedroom villas at this price point need to have their own BBQ, not communal.

The room was spacious and had a nice view. The golf course was stunning!

Waited very long to have breakfast as they were under staffed. The bathrooms could do with a bit of cleaning

It was quiet to sleep which was good.

I originally booked a king room but was put into a 3 bed apartment. When we walked into the apartment there was a wet dog smell throughout. We were only there for 1 night and it was already 8pm and we had driven a long way so didn’t bother to call reception and complain but put up with it instead.

The location was good. Very close to Sydney. It was very close to the beach. The view of the resort was stunning.

The facility was very old. The room and bathroom were not clean at all. The sofa had a bad smell. The temperature of indoor pool had to be warmer. It was too cold.

Spacious comfortable Villagreat buffet breakfast with good choices

The spa was outstanding and the staff very lovely

The facilities overall need maintenance and a good clean. Pool gates, indoor pool heater, crack in the outdoor pool all things that seem to have been broken for months. The hotel room was average at best, with broken tile and very minimal comforts

    Size of villas

I booked this hotel expecting a comfortable, relaxing stay, but it fell way short — especially considering how expensive it was.First off, the pool was a mess. It looked nothing like the photos. Water was cloudy and maintenance was not up to the mark. It was basically unusable, which was one of the main reasons I chose this place in the first place. On top of that, there was no heating in the pool. It was supposed to be a regulated pool but water was super cold. On complaining with reception they told that heating filament is broken. Kids were not happy at all. It was a holiday season and hotel staff hardly provided any help with broken things. For the hefty price I paid, I expected way more. Basic comfort and working amenities shouldn't be too much to ask. Would not recommend and definitely avoid it

Pleasant surroundings, felt like a luxury resort as we arrived

The carpet in our room was worn and stained. Nothing felt luxurious despite the luxury price point. Over $500 a night and no housekeeping. Dishwashing supplies to wash mismatched dishes but no plug in the only sink in the bathroom! The hand soap is too high on the wall, the pathway lights were out for our entire stay, doors had to bang shut orherwise they didn't latch, lots of seemingly minor things all added up to this not being a luxury stay at all

Relaxing atmosphere and lovely gardens throughout. Plenty of spots to have a picnic or BBQ

Not enough crockery, as we had a dishwasher it would have been good to use it, but there wasn't enough crockery. Wine glasses were very ordinary..

    Staff were great.

Heated pool heating had been broken for over a month. Not great given the weather we had.Mattresses need replacing! My back and neck need physio work now. The rooms are very tired looking. Lots of stains on carpets and furniture. Needed more crockery in the apartment not enough for 4 people.Pool areas are ok but concreting around the pools is broken and chipped.

Heated pool was the reason for picking this place and it was broken… other pools were nice but freezing..

It’s a beautiful resort. The pools were fantastic and we had good weather so we used them every day. Magenta beach is also spectacular - great for beach walks. Overall we were very impressed with our stay. The breakfast was good - perhaps not the biggest selection of food but what was there was yummy.

Perhaps the one thing we noticed was that there were not enough bowls and plates in the villa. I also never understood why you would put carpet in the living room areas especially if this is for hotel purposes and there is lots of wear and tear happening.

The breakfast was great. I could not fault this and the staff was very nice.

The ceiling fan did not work. The room was old and needed a major upgrade. The room needed more lighting. I was disappointed that when we arrived someone had taken our car spot and when I phoned the receptionist all they could do was put a note on their window. We were asked to drive back to the main reception and park our car there. I thought this was a bit rough. Everyone who is staying at the complex should have their own security pass to get into the grounds. I have been to another resort where this was done. Anyone can drive in who is not staying at the complex and use the pool. Our apartment was outside the main gate and into the pool. We were staying for our wedding anniversary and it was a nice surprise to see a bottle of champagne in the fridge.

    4TanjaPosted on: 3-23-2025

One pool was nice. The villa was big and close to the pool.

The amount of cockroaches inside everywhere. The villa was only equipped for two, even though we booked for three. There was also no linen for the sofa bed. The shower handles were broken off.But the worst were the parties people had into the morning. Expensive weekend without getting sleep.

Pretty. Polos were nice. Apartment was great.

Breakfast was pricing for the food that was on offer. A lot of empty trays.Staff were lovely though.

Place was nice and facilities were good

Bar in the pool are was closed.Food at the bar was terrible. We ordered room service from the bar. Prawns and fish made the whole apartment smell, they were definitely old. My wife and daughter both got food poisoning and were sick for the next day which ruined our stay. Lucky they only took a bite or 2 of the food before we put it all in the bin. Was a $200 meal that was disgraceful.
