Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalows offers beach-side accommodations overlooking beautiful Caves Beach. All accommodations offers a private balcony and a 37-inch TV with cable channels. The suites offer air conditioning, an in-room safe, ocean views and a light breakfast. The self-contained villas feature 2 bathrooms and a balcony with views of the beach. The bar at Caves Beachside Lake Macquarie offers live music every weekend. Caves Bistro features an indoor and outdoor dining area. There is a children's play area for the younger guests to enjoy. The shores of Caves Beach are just across the sand dunes from Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalows. Swansea's town center is only 5 minutes drive away.

- Location was amazing
- Caves Beach is beautiful. Great spot for families. Close to Sydney and yet far enough for a quiet getaway.
- The accommodation and location was absolutely incredible, the views, the beach and the food at the hotel was 5 stars. Highly recommend anyone to stay here!
Cons -
- We could not use the bath in bungalow 4 as the tap was leaking all over the floor, each bungalow was missing some cutlery
- The property we stayed at (U19) was not good. It's currently being sold and so there's very little care taken. Shower has zero pressure, soap dispensers were empty, booked for 5 ppl, but no linen for the fold out bed - just a plain old.matress. Couch was badly stained. Fridge froze everything despite being on lowest setting, TV remote controls were busted. The cane chairs in the lounge room had something living in them - could hear the scratching at night (yikes). We've stayed at Caves Resort a lot, but this property was a huge disappointment.
- Some staff were friendly and some werent. Everyones customer service is different but some days we didnt feel some staff wanted to be there when serving us
