Convenient location, close to restaurants and shops

Very dated and needs renovating. Paint was peeling from the ceiling, rust was evident in the sink and around the base of the taps. Carpet was dirty. Free wi-fi but the connection was so slow I ended up turning my computer off. Would not stay here again.

Cozy and clean room. Nice air con , smart tv connected to the Internet - entertainment ready, hot n cold water shower plus microwave and toaster for meal times.

Small room size

Comfy bed. A bench that ran the length of the room.Peter was very accommodating with our change of booking.

This Motor Inn is right beside the main road but there was very little traffic noise in the room. There was room to park our car and trailer close to the room. The room had been recently renovated and felt fresh.

It was advertised with new soft European mattresses but unfortunately we found it to be too firm for us. The shower pressure was low and the shower drain drained so slowly the shower base started to fill up.

Clean tidy room

There was plates & mugs, but no bowls or spoons.

Our room was well equipped and very clean and comfortable.Great location for an overnight stop.

No complaints.

Staff were friendly & room clean, linen crisp

The bathroom was the only problem. I found the toilet low & trip hazards eg ledge in the doorway & ledge around shower a problem at night.Apart from this everything was excellent.

Didn’t have breakfast.

Room was clean, beds comfortable, easily big enough for our travelling family Adequate cutlery and dishes including kettle and toaster supplied.Loved the outdoor share kitchen as this gave us the opportunity to wash and clean baby bottles etc.Generous offer of free use of baby cot , when ours was left behind

We couldn't understand why the head on the shower was left upside down - UNTIL we has used it and couldn't stop it dripping , by midnight after trying to deaden the sound with towels , we had to again tip up the head and strangle the taps to get some sleep.The visitors information book was stuck together with what smelt like spilt milk.The cot was unusable to be used - due to storage issues - which hopefully will be rectified before offered again.

Very clean and convenient location and it’s good forstop over stay.

You can hear next door open and close the door, and no sound between each unit

The Highway Motel in Taree was very clean and comfortable - the staff were friendly

good value for brief overnight stop on a longer trip. Quite a few extra amenities in the room like plates and cutlery, though we were leaving early and did not use any of these.

when we arrived the reception very late with the idea of crashing, she said she did not have a booking.i thought it was my mistake initially but checked and dates etc were correct. She said booking.com must have made a mistake she did not have it. I said unlikely they made a mistake and showed not only the booking but an emailed payment confirmed. She then asked me to check my bank card had been charged. I said of course it had or it could not say payment confirmed. This went on for 15 minutes with reception blaming me and booking.com and then she mysteriously found the booking. Very unpleasant and unnecessary and confusing, with double speak from the receptionist.

Friendly, very helpful staff. Nothing a problem. Clean and tidy rooms.

It was clean and neat, everything you need is there.

You can park close to the unit and it was a nice bed

The weather was very hot when we stayed there.It was great to have a quiet, effective air conditioner in an appropriate location in the room. The room was clean, quiet and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Highly recommended.

Crisp clean linen, well equipped, good lighting, parking outside the door was well organised .
