Tamworth Lodge Motel

The air con was extremely loud and vibrated the wall all night long and kept us waking up. This needs to be fixed, as it is too hot in Tamworth to not have air con at night.

Very noisy room from both traffic and other guests all night. Long dark hairs on spare pillow and in shower.Stayed only one night instead of booked 2. We were refunded one night tho

As a family in the "family room" we were put next to what are permanent tenants. It was a weekend and they stayed up all night long smoking cigarettes at the front door which blew straight into our room. I had to take my kids and sleep in our car because of the amount of cigarette smoke in our room coming from the front of the building through the hallway into our room. They also stayed up for most of the night with different people coming and going with doors constantly closing and loud chatter.When I mentioned this to the staff in the morning I was just told "sorry", I was not offered any kind of compensation for having to sleep in the car with my children. I never complain about anything so it takes a lot to frustrate and annoy me for poor service. But this was the lowest of the low.Completely unacceptable.

Slight unpleasant - probably somewhat like a halfway house for convicted criminals

AC didn't work, Plumbing made noises throughout the night, Room was powered down over night necessitating a dark shower and change in the early morning.

Large space of two rooms for 2 adults and a child.

No crockery, cutlery. Only cups and spoons.

Basic clean room. Microwave and small fridge. Central location. Served a purpose for a place to sleep on a quick trip.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and was very cold blankets were useless

States it’s a pet friendly motel Yet drove 6 hours to get there , to be told the room is not for pets - I was to pay other $70 on top for a room . When it does not state on the website specific I rooms only

It would be useful if the kitchen included utensils, crockery , dishcloth. We had a lovely kitchen but couldn’t use it. Otherwise a large space and comfortable

Everything was fine except the water supply was turned off between midnight & 6am!! We couldn't flush the Loo, wash our hands or get a drink of water!! Strange.....no warning at all. Lucky it was on in the morning and we could shower. Spoilt the experience. ?

It is an old Motel but it is very clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. It has all the essentials and is great value for money.

Clean, basic accommodation. Secure room with parking out front, lovely front desk staff, and a good location.

It is an older dated motel but has everything and was clean and fair priced.

The room all round was exceptionally quiet, was actually very surprised

When we arrived we were actually a bit worried about the appearance from the road, but the room was very up market and very quiet

The fridge. It had more room to put drinks

The bathroom tap was hard to turn. No shampoos. The tv was slow and kept freezing.
