The Retreat at Froog Moore Park

Pete and Sandy are exceptional hosts who made our stay really special. They don’t follow some standard rulebook—they just genuinely care and go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need.The rooms are individually decorated and comfortable, and the backyard is designed based on Feng Shui principles, which creates a really calm and relaxing atmosphere.They offer breakfast and dinner, and the food was fantastic. Sandy is a very good cook and Pete is a fun “waiter” who keeps things entertaining. They even made a special dinner for our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful touch.We enjoyed our time at The Retreat at Froog Moore Park so much and would definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Tamworth.

How unexpectedly eccentric- in a great way! A visual feast indeed. And the outdoors section was extensive and quiet. Loved the breakfast that was additional, but special attention to detail and not your normal expected breakfast made this stand out.

It was amazing. Sandy and Peter were very kind and provided a lovely home made breakfast for us. The room was lovely and we loved our stay.

Beautiful hosts, comfortable, accommodating 10/10!! Loved the attention to detail, cute fittings and furnishings. Super unique and artistic, I love eclectic and eccentric decor, this space has it all! From welcoming hosts to a beautiful quiet space to relax.

I have not stayed anywhere like this since Europe. The quality of the fit out together with the uniqueness of the Japanese theme created a beautiful presence.The staff friendliness was on another level and couldn’t do enough for you.

Can totally recommend staying at Froogmore Park Retreat. The Japanese themed room was tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, very peaceful & quite surrounds, lovely gardens. Delicious, healthy and well presented breakfast. Hosts Peter and Sandy were friendly, engaging and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Quiet n peaceful. Hosts Pete n Sandy were very welcoming n our dinner, cooked by Sandy, was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clever design in themed accomodation. We loved every minute of our time here and were spoiled by lovely hosts. We enjoyed the quiet of the area and it was a very short drive to town.

Friendliness cleanliness and great food

Immaculate clean! Spacious room.Creative and authentic indoors decor, makes the experience. Attentive and warm service.

Overpriced food.

Scrupulously clean. An abundance of room. The owners were more than happy to assist, but equally happy to leave you alone if that was your wish.

We were in The Dungeon with its associated light issues, but that is just me. Others would find the room atmospheric.

Nice outdoor settings

found it very enclosed. hard to get a window open. too many shutters. poor privacy from care takers who is looking down the hallway at you when you leave your room.

The serenity of the huge garden carried relaxation to every aspect. The location was quite and not far from town. The hosts were exceptionally warm and co operative. Five stars was more than well deserved.

There was nothing to improve.

A quirky different place to stay. Friendly owner/operators made us feel welcome and provided us to a delightful in house dinner. The place was licensed and well stocked.

Really not too much

A friendly welcome and beautifully decorated room. Lovely gardens to walk through. the food is awesome, take the chance on the “Chef’s Choice”
