Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth by Rydges

Rooms were clean and well appointed.

The room was nicely appointed and very luxurious, the parking was great, and the vicinity to town was convenient.

It was a bit overpriced and tired for the luxury price tag.

The bed was spacious and extremely comfortable. The bath fills so quickly and the jets are amazing. The food was delicious.

Only issue we had was Room Service forgetting items on both of our orders

Very accommodating after several hours driving, friendly and easy check-in and the room was extremely clean. Our almost 4yo enjoyed the spa greatly. Will stay again.

I didn't like not eating at the restaurant but unfortunately we had prior dinner plans. The steak cooking smells were torturing!

the room was excellent quality, staff were exceptionally polite both reception and in the restaurant. food was delicious. bedding was comfortable and everything was very clean.

Nothing - the stay was very very nice

Great room set up and the restaurant was amazing!! Staff were also very happy and helpful. We’ll be back!

I was very surprised how clean and modern the apartment was and its the little things that made a difference.Having takeway coffee cups . So you could make a coffee for the road, Very quiet , central location.

Sheets were heavy cotton making it too hot to sleep

Ample space, clean & tidy and staff always helpful & friendly! Fantastic restaurant too. We always stay here when we travel to Tamworth.

Everything was great!

Very good

Shower was not so good hot 1min cold the next and to room had a funny smell not nice

Room size was amazing, bed was comfy as! Pool, gym and sauna great facilities to use whilst away from home!!

Greeting from staff was great and the room was really nice and clean. The restaurant is really good and so is the room service. I think the best place in the area.

Could’ve stayed a bit longer

Clean and comfortable

The pool area was dated and felt unkept. It was very expensive. The price of the meals at the restaurant were ridiculous. Was before the 15% surcharge.

Comfortable and clean rooms and close to all amenities.

There was no hot buffer breakfast.

Location was good.

The sink and amenities were seperate to the toilet and shower (in a room together) it was odd and not very sanitary.

The Hotel and our room was immaculate, comfortable bed, great shower. Lovely outside mineral pool and spa which we enjoyed. The room was quiet.Great restaurant, beautiful layout, ambiance and service for evening meal, staff were super busy the Saturday night we ate there but they were really accommodating and friendly.Location was easy 15min walk to the centre of town. This would have to be one of the nicest Rydges we have stayed at.

Comfortable, quality, well-appointed, very clean room within walking distance of Tamworth centre. Very quiet beside the main road into town from the north due to double-glazed windows

Would have preferred windows that opened to allow fresh air, despite being next to the main road. Don't really like to run fan or aircon all night to avoid feeling 'stuffy'.

Nice clean rooms. Very comfortable.

Location a little noisy with road traffic and restaurant rather pricey

The beds are comfy and it's nice to have easy access to Netflix which I needed after a long drive from Sydney that day.

In other stays I have had here other guests haven't bothered me however on this visit I believe I was situated next to a family room. They weren't noisy however every time they used their bathroom it was clearly heard in my room. The overhead fan in the room also may have had a loose item as it was very noisy when I turned it on. Perhaps I am being fussy however after a long drive from Sydney little things like this meant a lot.

We love this hotel. Best in Tamworth. Staff, room, bar, restaurant are always great.

The front desk staff could not have been more helpful and had good local knowledge. Stayed in a 1 bed apartment, plenty of room, equipped kitchen, and despite being on a main road it was quiet. A comfortable bed.

Coffee machine needed fixing.
