The properties location was very poor the blankets were dirty the rooms did not have window and was so supplicating since there was no ventilation

Behaviour of the staff. Asked for hot water, have to give reminder for the same. Then I decided to get it myself and experienced the arrogant behaviour of the manager/staff.

My recent stay at Hotel Barbareek was a mixed bag of experiences. We booked a 5-person room, which was comfortable and adequate for our needs. However, the hotel's parking lot was located under a dirty bridge, which was not very appealing and felt somewhat unsafe.One positive aspect was the complimentary breakfast provided during our stay and the service was satisfactory.Unfortunately, the location of the hotel was a significant downside. Nestled in the midst of a vegetable market place, the surroundings were far from hygienic. The air was filled with a foul smell, and navigating through the narrow and dirty roads around the hotel was a challenge.In summary, if you can overlook the less-than-ideal location and parking situation, Hotel Barbareek might suffice for a short stay. However, those sensitive to unhygienic surroundings may want to explore other options in the area.

Wrong photo and parking is on a govt issued lot where you pay 100rs to keep private vehicles

Very bad facility, On the first day they didn't give us the room that we have booked and room was already occupied by some other person. The very next day they give us our booked room after long negotiation. Facility and staff were very much unacceptable. Very pathetic experience, never ever book this hotel. Your money will be wasted

This is this best hotel in shillong (near police bazar). Manager and their staff always ready to help you. Thier food quality is genuinely best in entire shillong. Thier hotel is spacious, comfortable and hygienic. It is a vegetarian hotel so all vegetarian must visit the hotel.You will surely love the hotel and their staff for years.

I have not yet received my check out bill. I have checked out at 8.10am today. I need the staying bill urgently. I have called them already regarding this.

Staff were 1st started charging more than how it shown online..but i booked from booking.com and guess what it was half of the price online.. breakfast was included but they didn't served cause me and my friend woke up late ?.

They are not helping at anything..bed quality could be better.

It was rediculous.

The manager became a tremendous headache for customers No housekeeping, ill-behaviour of the manager towards the customers and moreover that manager talked rudely with a women (my mom).

Had four beds in my room. Upto my liking. Children are 12&07. Not old enough to go to another room.

Food bad. Won't give choices. Food takes ages to come. . Poori was of bad quality. Didn't get any water to room. Bathroom leaking. Can't approach the property between 0800-1900 due to subji market just in front. Stinking outside due to the vegetables market
