MOCAHM Inn

The hospitality of the staff was very good and rooms are clean and good to stay with anyone.

price was a bit higher as i paid 4960 for one room where as on normal days it cost 2500 approx.

Excellent staff. Clean rooms and good food.

Nothing as such

Cleanliness

Hopeless buffet breakfast spread just Paratha and bread and not even egg or fruits, shower not working, no hot water available for bathing or at basin, bad location, just the basic amenities available

The warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The delicious food, coupled with the exceptional service from the friendly staff, created a memorable dining experience. The hotel's strategic location provided easy access to nearby attractions, making it an ideal base for exploration. The hands-on approach to training hotel management students is a commendable initiative. We extend our sincere gratitude to Daris for her outstanding service and for ensuring that all our needs were promptly addressed.

The washroom window was not equipped with a privacy glass film, which was a privacy concern. Fortunately, the steam generated from the hot water usage helped in obscuring the view.

The best part about MOCAHM is being an institute of culinary and hospitality management, they are very sincere about upholding the tenets of good management and making the customer experience smooth and comfortable. The rooms are clean and well ventilated. The food served in the in house restaurant scores high both on taste and health parameters. Everyone from the staff including reception, restaurant and cleaning are always ready to address customer needs with a smile. A special kudos goes to Daris Syiemsad who took care of the entire process of checking in, room service, quick resolution of minor issues, billing and checking out with remarkable efficiency.MOCAHM is a definite recommendation for short term accomodation in Shillong.

Nothing encountered.

Behavior and courtesy of the stuff.

Electric switches are not in proper position for use. Have to take extension cord.

Breakfast was on time. Staff was helpful, polite. Location was Allright.

Limited options for breakfast. There was no chair in the room.No toothbrush, toothpaste, comb etc. in bathroom which are usually there in most modern hotels.

Sparkling clean bathroom and very clean room with proper brightness and ventilation. Helpful and positive staff. In Shillong parking is a problem but they have proper shade parking with security. The balcony was spacious. Overall we had a great stay.

Stayed there for several nights and also hosted my wedding reception in the banquet hall. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay there.

There is a lot of construction going on around the complex which was noisy sometimes early morning. Also the driveway (steep hill) was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that no complains

Everyone was friendly, the service was very efficient, food was great, everything was really good. Super clean and very close to everything in Shillong, Highly recommend.

The hotel management was good with very helpful staffs with good location

The price of the food is too high and complimentary breakfast was not upto the mark,,they must add milk and fruits salad

Staff was really awesome. Also breakfast and hospitality was really good.

Breakfast and room location was best

The location

The facilities they provide in the room is not upto the mark as the price they charged..the geyser is not working,no hot water

We had a 2-night stay at this establishment, and I must commend them for the exceptional cleanliness and hygiene in the rooms. The maintenance is top-notch, deserving the highest rating for cleanliness. The food was delicious and met our expectations. I was impressed that the food was served in a food wrapper, a detail not often seen even in larger hotels. The staff were incredibly humble, approachable, and provided immediate assistance. I highly recommend this place. It's noteworthy that this isn't just a typical hotel; it's managed and run by aspiring catering students, ensuring a high level of grooming and management.

It sounds like you had a unique experience being the only customer at the hotel for breakfast. Despite the limited options and some delay in service, it's great to hear that the poori bajji you were served was hot and tasty. Sometimes, a smaller setting can result in more personalized service and attention to the quality of the food

The stay was comfortable. Staff very friendly, clean environment. We loved it here... Mr.bond took care of all..wud recommend people to stay here.

Breakfast was a little less.but on the last day after informing they provided an awesome breakfast. Nice hospitality overall.

Staff dealing was very good.
