Flinders Ranges Motel - The Mill

Staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Location was good. Short walk to everything in town. The room was in need of updating but that did not detract from our pleasant stay. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in Quorn.

Just needs updating.

It was just an overnight stop on our way to Streaky Bay. It was comfortable and the facilities were adequate for our needs.

Wish there were more food options. Only one pub open at dinner and nothing open at breakfast. Not the motel's fault. It was a small town. We drove to Port Augusta for breakfast.

The room was a good size,the bed was very comfortable and the decor really nice.The pubs and supermarket are all in walking distance as well as a big local swimming pool.The owner went out of his way to show us on the map the best places to visit.I would recommend this motel to anyone.

The location is excellent . The checkin was easy and efficient . The accommodation is motel style , clean with fridge, microwave , cutlery etc. Everything that is needed for a short stay .I would recommend this to families , solo travellers, couples.

The room was perfect. The owners had thought of everything. The decor was lovely, the bed so comfortable and a choice of firm or soft pillow. The owner showed me some of the other rooms. Each room is different and tastefully decorated with hand picked period pieces. This place is a real gem.

That we only stayed for one night!

Very comfortable stay in the outback town of Quorn on our way to the Flinders Ranges / Wilpena Pound / Parachilna. Great cafes close by for breakfast. Transcontinental pub is good for dinner. Lots of history related to the old Ghan railway line to explore in Quorn.

A couple of chairs would be useful (but not enough room). DVD player would be too.

It was one of the best motel which I ever stayed. I like interior design of both rooms. Clean, quiet , nice place to stay during road trip.

Washing up in the bathroom basin or the separate tub, but at least we had the tub as others haven’t supplied that

Spacious room with a recent update. Owners were very friendly and the motel cat was a great greeter.

As this is a motel there is no breakfast available. A toaster and kettle were provided as was a fridge with some basics. Breakfast is available at some local cafes. The room was large and well furnished with some interesting furniture. No standard issue hotel kit here. Paul and Kylie are working hard to upgrade the facilities of this original 19th century mill, to be a very individual destination not just an overnight stop. They are welcoming and helpful with a good knowledge of the region and its attractions.

I thought the staff were fantastic. The bedding was the best! I’d travel to the mill again just to have a beautiful sleep!

My bedroom window was lacking privacy to the neighbours yard. It was a beautiful big window and a gorgeous gum tree silhouetted the room. A higher good neighbour fence would do the trick.

The hosts gave us a warm welcome. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we required. The bed was particularly comfortable. It was located in a great position, easy to walk through the town. We really hope to come and stay again, as our time there was too short.

This was a great motel in a lovely little town. Everyone motel staff & residents of the town were so friendly. Kylie at the motel was so helpful with advice. Room was super big & spacious , lovely bed, Had a lovely meal in the town , good coffee shops. Quorn is a great place well worth visiting.

Clean comfortable room located on the Main Street of the town.

Incredibly bad bed. Needs replacing asap. Otherwise it would have been perfect motel stay for be night stopover.

Quiet, great location so could walk everywhere, basic kitchenette was useful, comfortable bed. Very adequate for our needs
