Pros +
- new, great view
- Clean rooms, good view, well maintained pool
- Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful location. Well situated for exploring the area.
Cons -
- because it is new we gave a list of improvements to the staff
- Unavailability of fuel, inability of staff to resolve the fuel issue, unavailability of towels by the pool.We also had our rooms allocated at the very end despite there being very few people at the hotel.Unavailiability of food was also a bit annoying
- The check in time was 2 pm. We arrived there at 3.30pm. The room was not ready when we arrived and we been told it would be ready by 4.15 pm. When asked, receptionist told me check in time is from 2pm, not at 2 pm. I find this is weird. And we could only got the room at 4.10pm.

The view, customer service and the facility. The stay was excellent and highly recommend. Please book in advance otherwise a bit pricey.
Location, room, staff, facilities are all perfect.

We loved our stay at Rawnsley Park Station! We had a cute family cabin that was very clean and comfortable. We loved that it had heated blankets to make it extra cozy! The area around it was beautiful and the views of the mountains was spectacular! Dinner at the Woolshed was wonderful. We stayed for 2 nights and we wish we could have stayed for longer! We highly recommend and would definitely go back.
Cabin was spacious and attractive. Certainly superior for a caravan park setting with a lovely view. Caravan space was also attractive with trees and large sites with space for open fires
All good. It might have been nice to have a washer in cabin but we used laundry in campground
Eco villa was spacious with a great view of the bluff. Great breakfast starter included. Walk to Rawnsley Bluff a highlight. Outside BBQ excellent.
More info about breakfast starter pack before arriving so as not to double up on carrying food. Starting to look dated e.g. dodgy dishwasher (but still seemed to work well, flyscreens need some work etc.
Fantastic accommodation with amazing views. We enjoyed the welcome supplies. Minor issues were dealt with immediately by the lovely helpful staff.
The view was superb. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool was very nice. Fridge and stove good, great decking but not much on it. Loved the walks and BBQ/ fire pit idea even though we didn't use. Nice shower.Restaurant "Happy hour" * Shame you can't order something to go with your drink!Met some delightful guests.
For the amount paid the cabin could have had some more basic inclusions that are in motels/ accomodation at a much lesser rate. Unable to have anything powered next to bed as no room. Also due to this unable to open 2nd cupboard at all. No full length mirror. No place for 2nd person to hang towel in bathroom - hook on back of door would have been nice.No information extra book in room. Couch most uncomfortable and TV angle difficult.Outdoor decking great but insufficient lighting to stay out for very long.Just expected to have a few more obvious comforts that make a stay away special. Have stayed in many places and most have to offer more than you.Love the area but probably not stay again.
all met expectancy. Location is good. Restaurant was OK. happy hour was good.
no facilities to wash vehicle. No lighting at BBQ's.
The location is outstanding We had 2 units. The smaller one had no view and was just adequate. The larger new unit was superb and I will definitely return. Dinner at the woodshed was excellent and highly recommended Great to have so many hikes at your doorstep
The accommodation (called one bedroom apartment) was basic and the bed was not very comfortable. However, the Woolshed Restaurant provided excellent food of the highest quality. The dishes were sumptuous. The Sunset Tour to The Chase was excellent. The BBQ pack for $85 was very poor and by the time the fat was cut off there was a postage stamp size left.
The room requires updating.
We visited during the off-peak season and, despite a smaller team, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room, while slightly dated, was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The à la carte breakfast menu was excellent, offering delicious and creatively prepared dishes in generous portions. Dinner is also a highlight for any meat eater, unfortunately it's a simple pasta and sauce for vegetarians. :/
Throughout our travels in Australia, in general, we noticed that the Australian kitchen has yet to develop a more thoughtful vegetarian or vegan menu options.
The location was beautiful. Kangaroos visiting. Great selection of breakfast food provided. Retractable skylight for night gazing
Seemed as though it could do with an upgrade - felt a little old.
Great central location for a visit to the Flinders Ranges. A few great short walks on the property. The lamb platter at the restaurant was great. The superior 2 brm unit was roomy, modern and well equipped for a week long stay.
the cabin was spacious with great facilities the kitchen is well equipped the heating and cooling was perfect the shower was great with plenty of hot water the sound proofing was fabulous we loved how we had a carport and porch to sit the woodshed was fantastic for happy hour drinks and food the views we had were stunning
better equipment for the BBQ particularly for cleaning the shop could have a bit more for families
Location was amazing literally looks over the ranges, kangaroos right outside the door too. The staff were all great, accomodation was spotless and very modern. Pool which was well kept and clean and even a little general store down in the camping area which was very convenient
The location, undercover parking, comfortable and spacious room. Recently refurbished bathroom. Woodshed Restaurant was fabulous, great food, lovely friendly staff and wonderful views, from our table anyway ?
The ants ?, A/C struggled in the heat, lack of fresh produce at the store, maybe need a cool room or large refrigerator.
Beautiful location. We saw kangaroos near our cabin. The restaurant steak was perfect.
