The Peaks Motor Inn

The Peaks Motor Inn was very clean and well kept, and having a kitchen was a definite bonus. The location was great for the southern part of Tongariro National Park. The owner was nice and very helpful with suggestions for both activities and restaurants.

There was laundry facility on site; the hosts were super nice; the location was QUIET! A great overnight and close to the super cute town without being right in the middle of town. :)

Nice property with all good amenities.

The fitness center is not much, just a stationary bike. The host apologized and said will take it out from the list of facilities.

Perfect for us as we were biking, and the managers were very helpful and approachable a great stay ?

Location was spot on and very quiet. We had a very spacious unit.

Nothing! It had everything that we wanted.

Nothing about this place turned me on. Dark, old dingy establishment which needs an upgrade.

Don't want to be too picky, just wasn't me cup of tea. As stated before, an old, dark, dingy 4th grade motel.

The room was well appointed and the bed was fairly comfy. The room was very clean.

The decor was dated. And the plug was extremely difficult to remove from the bath.

Clean, everything worked except heat lamp combination ..... advised staff on depart. Warm, quiet and comfortable.

The room was clean and tidy with the usual facilities expected in a motel. The bed was large and comfy and the shower had great water pressure. Loved the location right across from a lovely river walk. Nice and quiet at night.

Things were a bit dated but it didn't really matter for short stay.

Everything - except the loudness of the spa bath ?? but fortunately the shower was great too!Would definitely stay there again. It was beautifully set - hardly heard a thing from either of our neighbours on both sides & bathroom lovely & spacious. Older styled but still nice & has an alpine feel!

Handy location to Ohakune town, and on the main road to Turoa Skifield. Walking and great cycling tracks handy. Quiet location.

Simple room, tidy and clean, enjoyed the outside area allocated to the room with BBQ table.

Probably due for redecorating

Bed was comfortable, room was very clean and tidy. Close to town, quiet space. Owners/staff were friendly and welcoming. I liked that there was outdoor seating at the back of the room so we could sit outside. Water pressure was amazing, and hot water came through fast. Oven was good to cook with and very clean. Glass cups were of good size and not the very very small ones.

Could of done with some aircon to combat the humidity, fan was provided though but didn't cool the room enough.

Large room. Comfortable bed and facilities. Away from town so little to no traffic noise. Staff pleasant to deal with. Had everything ready when we arrived. Walking track across the road.

Shops etc are not close but only 3-4 minutes by car, but that meant little traffic noise etc.

Great location, walking distances to town and nearby popular restaurants. Access straight onto walking tracks and easy access to mountain. Property is roomy, with morning and evening sun in every room. Individual outdoor area for each room added bonus.

Very comfortable accommodation and very clean & tidy

We ordered a portable cot and it cost $30 dollars
