    • Would have liked a pillow menu. Pillows to big for me.

Modern bathrooms. Chalet style architecture and decor made it different. At the edge of the village was a nice setting close to river and walks. Staff lovely and helpful Great to have restaurant on site. Quiet.

Would have liked a pillow menu. Pillows to big for me.

Gives a cozy cabin in the woods feel. Great amount of space in the room. The restaurant was great as well, absolutely loved the French crepes. Kind attentive staff. Would love to visit again.

The staff were exceptional , especially the lady on the day we checked in- she bent over backwards to help us with any requests or questions . the staff in the restaurant were also delightful , especially Katy. Lovely comfortable and well equipped room

Beautiful spaces. Nice self-service laundry with a heated drying room to use without a dryer. Nice for hanging up nice clothes. You do not want to overheat in a machine.

Lovely wooden interior, felt like a real lodge/chalet. Balcony was charming with plants framing view to trees below.

Lovely chalet style timber building. Good location next to forest walks. Indoor pool, large room

Extractor Fan in room was very loud, had to turn power off for whole room to shut it down at night

Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room to suit our needs.

Food was excellentStaff very friendly & helpful

The smell of wood oil/varnish in our room was over powering. We opened the doors for as long as possible but it didn’t alleviate the smell. There was also a slight smell of damp although we could not find any damp.

    7MeganPosted on: 12-5-2024

Restaurant was good, had a good burger and I loved our room and log theme.

Not very welcoming g at checkin. Hotel is very tired, and a wedding right under our room was very noisy , which we were warned about and fine with. but the moving of the furniture after the wedding and 6am in the m morning was really noisy. Would like to see a small carton of milk, instead had 20 little plastic pours, could think more about environment being rural hotel. they mixed our bill up at the restaurant and our order.

Love the pool, can even get drinks delivered. Beds are comfy and the staff are so lovely. Perfect spot if you are heading up to Turoa or there to explore bike trails

    Nothing, everything was great
