Good location, good facilities, does what it says it will do well. Very tidy.

Nothing - didn't meet hosts, Older but tidy facility

The twin room was spacious for 2-3 people, the beds were quite comfy, and the kitchen facilities were complete. The location was close to New World and other shops.

The shower head was not adjustable, so it was a waste of water. Although the water was instantly hot

The beds were not the best. Toilet had a clean seal on it but it had dried poop at the back of the toilet from the previous guests in the bowl. Was not very nice. No staff onsite so just a key in a lock box. If a staff member was on site we probably would have complained about the state of the toilet.

Disappointed with the room. Bed wasn’t comfortable, pillows were terrible. Bathroom floor was like a campground-concrete. Reception wasn’t open so there was little to no communication. Very pricey for what you got. Would not go back!

Parking in front of the unit, very close to restaurants and shop, seamless check-in. Great shower, comfortable beds.

Easy self check-in, free off st parking in front of unit, hot spa pool, fast wifi & was clean.

Couch was un comfy

Close to town, easy late night check in, clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and accomodating.

Bathroom floor can be very slippery when wet.

Dara was very helpfull. Close to everything in town.

Conveniently located, very clean, classic style of motel, friendly and efficient check in - check out process. Good parking directly in front of the unit and a shower with very good pressure. Close to town shops and eateries.

No air conditioning, but it wasn’t an issue as it wasn’t too hot, and in winter it has a heater to keep things cozy

Very very hot inside, a fan would’ve been great, especially in the bedroom. Lots of flies (unavoidable at this time of year), we bought a can of fly spray from the new world so that solved the fly problem.

Didn't get to meet anyone(staff), we had a text telling us where we were staying and how to get in. I didn't see this till after I saw the message on reception door to ring 1 of two numbers. Tv didn't work, ! Door didn't lock from the inside, and made an awful noise when opening/ closing.

Reasonable value, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants

Cramped parking, quite noisy with trucks rumbling nearby and fire siren going off in middle of the night. Could do with a bit of a renovation- mould in bathroom corners etc

It was clean and tidy and easy to access. There was a carpark available.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great sleep. We found the bed quite hard and we were all woken by the volunteer fire alarm going off next door at 1:45am for a really quite a long time.We also found it a bit odd that we didn’t see anyone at reception at all, even tho we arrived before 4pm on a Friday afternoon. All the communication was done by text and the key was left in a lockbox, which was fine of course, but had we had any questions like recommendations on where to eat or things to do it might’ve been nice to have seen someone.

Location kitchen facilities check in procedure comfortable apartment with everything we needed to self cater.

Plenty of space for a couple, really quiet. Watch out for the water pressure in the shower, its the most powerful ever experienced ?

Very comfortable room, free hot tub which was amazing after the tongariro northern circuit. Motel is right in the middle of town close to restaurants. Room is very large, i was sble to spread my gear and dry my tent.

Some small things that were not entirely satisfactory: when i arrived there was no one in recrprion and the toom i was assigned to via email was a wrong room. It was wasily fixed once i called the owner, but not everybody has phone plans to call nz numbers. Also, there was no soap or shampoo in the shower. These are small things i thought i should mention, but the place overall is very good and i highly recommend

Needed accessible power points by the bed for my partners cpap and a more level entry for his wheelchair... the shower floor was very slippery.. also toilet system ran after flushing .. which wastes water
