Location and Quaintance

Price was good. Sheets and towels were clean.

Poor wifi. Very poor sleep as bed and room shook with each passing truck. No tea bags or milk in rooms. Limited cooking utensils. No salt or pepper. Decor was shabby. Blood on duvet cover. Place smelt a bit off. Place felt dirty....shaby. the whole place felt run down, neglected, curtains hanging off rails....bedroom was dark with limited light.

Good sized villa with two levels. Upstairs beds were cozy

It was a handy location to do The Tongarrio Alpine crossing with hot pools 200m down the road for recovery and the host was friendly

Could have been a little more attention to cleaning, otherwise was perfect

Hot pool, spacious, good location. Kids enjoyed the playground and little animals.

Spider webs found on the chairs

Very friendly and accommodating of pets. Super clean and comfortable beds, with everything we needed.

Place was full of dead bugs and cobwebs, so much so that when it got dark my kids refused to sleep there, the one kid has a big fear for spiders and even started crying , this meant we had to leave and drive home , wasted my money in booking the accomadation, as we went home and enjoyed our own clean bug and cobweb free home, Wifi was super bad as well, I would say it is unusable,

5min walk to Tokanuu pools, sad the lodge pool isn't working but totally understand they are working on it the best and fastest way they know how.

Very valuable for the cost. Room is cozy. Enough beds for our family of 6

The set up of the place was really good.Liked the balcany space and the lawn space.the nettings on the window were great to keep ones privacy.

The wifi kept dropping out.

We really enjoyed our one night stay at the Lodge - it was a quaint, warm and comfy cabin with a mezzanine floor. The double beds were so comfortable and lots of room if we had more family members with us.

Unfortunately there was a baby crying most of the night from a cabin next to us, so we didn't sleep well. I was surprised that we could hear it so clearly, so sound proofing would be great.

Good location for the National Park and great space inside.

Bathroom windows opened straight out into the driveway at eye level. Steamy shower or an accidental exhibition. Your choice.

It was a safe place for our cavachon pup. Loved the shower and bed was comfy. Lots of space

Location was great, room was comfortable and we were able to have our dog with us which was perfect.

The road can be noisy as it went past the front of our room, unfortunately the hot pools were not able to be used as they were being renovated, which was a real shame.

Cold and drafty. Definitely need to take advantage of the heating and extra blankets.

As I have said previously, this is our go to place! We have been coming for many years. The new owner has been making many changes in the short time she has been here. Playgound fenced off for tamariki, bbq area put in...(always had one, now readilly accessible), she getting the pool up and running again. Nexts years stay will be epic, Good on you Rachel and team! We were super happy to see you full with a no vacancy sign!!!We understand you are only, what 14months into ownership, fixing things takes time in these places. A wobbbly shelf here doesnt make too much of a difference, It was confortable for what we needed. Hoses everywhere is a sign of you guys rocking on despite of the recent flooding, and doing the best for your clients to have a comfortable stay..
