Tongariro Junction Accommodation

good location and clean

the parking space in front of our rented room was not enough, the other renters who arrived late even blocked the driveway, or possibly they weren't advised that they need to parallel park in front of their rented room

Accommodating and convenient. Nice and close to Tongariro, whether you’re taking a shuttle from Ketatahi or parking at Mangatepopo. The property recommends that if you’re arriving late you should grab dinner or snacks on your way into town and that’s good advice; only a couple of places are open until 9-10pm.

It has nice outdoor tables. Great location to access the National Park. Very friendly folks.

I couldn't get Amazon Prime to work on the hotel Wi-Fi, but the TV connected to my Starlink just fine.Soft beds, but that is unfortunately the standard.

It was clean and spotless, the layout, comfy beds, and the whole lot in the accommodation. Clean towels laid out.

The neighbors' friends hooning in and out. The parking just couldn't fit our truck after the people next to us parked up for the night. Maybe have some different door decor because someone walked in ours like it was their room.

The new cabin was nice and clean with everything we needed, beds were comfy, the soap and shampoo was nice. Great location near shops.

Just that the rest of the property looked a bit desolate and like it needed some repairs and life put back into it.

Kind and friendly host, beautiful view, spacious room. We had a very relaxing time!!Thank goodness!!

Unfortunately some dishes were dirty.

Great value, basic but clean and comfortable. Perfect for us as we transited through the area.

We needed a place to sleep for one night while passing through this town, and this accommodation served its purpose. Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a stay.

Good location and was quiet and very clean.

The shower drain was blocking so water built up over the bathroom floor / the photos don’t reflect the facilities- looks tired and needs a refresh.

The bedroom was massive and everything was nice and clean. Parking was out front and there was no possibility that anyone else would take the park so that was good. Close to town and basically next door to New World.

The kitchen was tiny and not much use for cooking a meal, in an open plan arrangement with the living and dining area. This was smaller than the bedroom - quite an odd arrangement, especially as the bathroom was off the bedroom. The 3rd member of our party's bed was a single in the living area.

I like the location room is clean.

no hot water we have to shower with icy cold water.

The accommodation met our needs. Didn't realise the bedroom didn't have a window - but overall that wasn't an issue as we only used it to sleep.

Air con didn't feel like it worked that well and the room felt overly hot for both nights we stayed.

Location. Quiet. Very clean inside. Unit had all the modern conveniences if we’d wanted to cook etc. provided milk. No hot water in the shower the last morning- maybe the gas had run out??

Nothing. It was totally acceptable.

Clean sheets and soft beds. Its near shops and we felt safe and its peaceful.

Clean and tidy rooms. located near the police station and fire station.

Super clean, host is super accommodating. Arrived around 10pm and he still waited for us and showed us exactly where to park and where were our rooms.

Very clean and comfortable beds. Well equipped and helpful staff.

clean room

white sheets, towel, clean room and bath

Good that we could fit all five of us in one unit.

Used to King Bed and a king bed would fit between the bedside tables. However for one night it was fine.

The parking lot is right outside the room and it was a big room with everything you’ll need. It was a comfortable stay and the reception staff was awesome and very welcoming. Thank you for taking our reservation even though it was very impromptu, only 1 hour before we checked in!
