Quaint and perfect location for exploring the area. Owners wrangled us an unplanned 3rd night when our itinerary changed. Nice additions such as laundry sauna and spa whirlpool.

The adjacent restaurant was a pleasant surprise with outstanding food for dinner and a great bar.

We'd read about the highway traffic so close to the highway and bridge disturbing people at night, but it did not bother us as we had a room away from the highway. If this is an issue, request a room away from the highway.

The kitchen space and dishes clean up tight and difficult. Next time we’d eat in the on-site restaurant

There were a few adjustments which needed to be made in respect of TV and phone. Staff were prompt in rectifying and explained that the problem was due to wifi changes. Food in restaurant was superb.

Location was great. Lots of parking and it was very easy to find.

Kitchen space was VERY small and there was no room to put any food. Did not like having to wash dishes in the same sink that was used as a bathroom sink, although I am appreciative that the sink was not in the actual bathroom. TV was not connected to anything so was not able to watch the game!!!!

The room was very comfortable and spacious. Loved the layout. The beds were comfy too. TV services was good with access to YouTube. The restaurant environment was amazing! And bar services were great! Very beautiful outdoor environment, and bar next to the big fireplace is to die for!

Probably the kitchenette could have been bigger, but no complaints. It was decent enough.

Convenient location and clean and tidy rooms.

Facilities are a bit dated but no significant issues.

Pet Friendly and warm room

Restaurant was closed..Toilet seat was loose ,Towel racks in bathroom and kitchen were broken , seal on fridge was deteriorating and dirty, Freezer door fell off when used 1st time,and very small cramped unworkable coffee making space.

It's conveniently located on SH1 with free onsite parking.

There was zero information on check in as to any facilities or wifi. No idea if any of the advertised facilities exist. Restaurant was closed. When trying to pre-order breakfast as per the menu in the room, I was told there is no breakfast, only dinner. The room was accessibly sprayed with some cleaning product/air freshener and the smell was intense and gave me big headaches over night, even opening all windows did not help. Tried to ring reception to retrieve wifi password but phone wasn't even in the wall. Very loose power sockets too. The info folder was super old and sticky, so were all the dishes and cutlery. Not clean at all. The walls are paper thin and you can hear literally every noise/words of the neighbours even with them trying to be considerate. Couldn't sit on the couch as worn out, the whole room urgently needs maintenance/refreshing.

Great location

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s a hit and miss on whether the TV works or not. It’s helpful to have it working when you’ve got kids and just need them to sit for a bit while you’re un/packing or getting dinner ready.

Room was great. Bed was comfortable and shower was awesome.

Restaurant was superb and good value. Very nice hosts and the staff are very nice too.

The location was really handy to town and surrounding areas.Restaurant on site which was convenient after a long day.Staff were friendly and helpful and very accommodating.

Could have used a sink or kitchenette as we had to wash our dishes in a bowl in the bathroom sink, not a huge problem but just a suggestion.

It is a great facility, pleasant owners and staff, though the language barrier was difficult when trying to explain about a dish cloth to wipe the sink. After 3 attempts, we were grateful for what they brought which was a microfiber cloth. The food was tasty.

When the owners wife came with the cloths, I pointed out, the broken window latch above the toilet, the dusty skirting boards and hair by previous guest behind bathroom door. Then the bathroom sink faucet was loose. Also I showed her the grease and food residue under the kitchen sink, along with the water stains from a leaky sink drain. There was also a stain on the duvet inner, the minute you pulled the bedspread back it was prominent. Also the vaccuming was not completed It was disappointing as the previous year I could not fault them though they had only owned it 4 months. I am unsure if we would book with them again, as after another year it might be worse.

Good location for fishing.

Property needs a make over. Whilst comfortable and clean, the complex needs some work.

Comfortable bed, clean facilities, hot shower

Room was well equipped and warm. Staff were very friendly and easy to deal with.The motel was just off the highway in a convenient position with plenty of carparking, and there was not a lot of traffic noise.
