Prime location for fishermen, owners are super friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay

Unit was good size with separate bedroom, close to river walk.

Unit felt a bit grubby, linoleum in kitchen looked dirty. Toilet paper hanging out of 2 holes in bathroom instead of being repaired.

Very friendly reception. Older accommodation but really comfortable. We would stay there again.The rooms were a great size. The bed was comfortable and warm. We had everything we needed.

Lovely owner. The homely feel, lovely rooms and being a trout town all of the memorabilia of that sort. And our dog was able to come. Good access into the accommodation and bathroom, kitchen etc for those less abled. Easy to find and parking right by our door.

Wasn't long enough we just stayed one night, would've loved to have stayed longer.

Great location, very comfortable. Lovely close walks for our 2 little pups and close to the river for the "fisherman"!

Pip was amazing! Very informative and friendly, even lent us walking sticks for the hike up Tongariro and many tips, definitely would have struggled to finish without her help ?

Comfortable but dated. Only 1 teaspoon, bed coverings could be replaced. OK for what we required

Our stay for two nights was perfect. We all enjoyed the spacious room. Had everything you needed in the kitchen and other rooms. Basic but very pleasant. Was quite considering we were next to highway. Good location just down the road from township, easy to walk too. Had a great carport which we put the jetski in and still plenty areas to park the ute. Enjoyed it and will be back when we bring jetski up again to the lake! Staff are great too! My son loved their dog!

The large cockroach climbing the wall was terrible. The motel is old and needs a complete update. The TV was impossible to work on normal TV.

Bathroom was pokey and fogged up even with windows wide open

We loved our stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is great. The free use of a washing machine with free wash power was a great bonus. There is tea coffee sugar and oil for cooking in the apartment.

No breakfast provided. Bed was too soft with lack of support in the middle.

Bed not comfortable. Toilet bowl looked awful. Couch arm was in need of a good clean.

The tramp for kids and room was like a mini lake bach

Location is perfect for the Tongariro River.Separate lounge and dining area. Good kitchen and two separate bedrooms. Heat pump a bonus for cooling

Quiet, cosy. Good size for 3 pax. Easy access to highway.

Old school motel. We switched off lights in the bathroom n toilet at night to discourage insects from coming.
