More linen. Hand towel and face cloth would have been great.

We only needed a basi bed for the night and an early departure and it did the job required

I’ve been to Tokoroa a lot, I’d probably stay at Clifton Court next time tho.

The bed was too hard. I didn’t stay over night I stayed for a little while.

Nice semi rural location. Helpful staff

Shower went cold after about 10min which is barely enough for 2 showers. No flannels provided only towels. Frogs croaking outside all night-not a big deal though. You can hear the traffic on SH1 but not too disruptive. Double bed not queen size but that's expected anyway.

We only wanted a rest for the night at a reasonable price. This was met.The setting is lovely , we enjoyed a walk to both ends of the street.

Met everything essential. Many more beds than expected. Small golf crew and I(3people) could've easily fitted in 1 stay, booked a 2nd room just in case. Would return again considering price and late bookings 24hrs prior.

Quality was a shock for 1 person. Another person didn't feel comfortable to use the shower due to no hot water running in the kitchen sink. Boiling jug and heater was the solution.

Close to town and facilities. Had all the basics that I needed in the hotel room.

The room smelt like stale smoke and musky smell. Been locked up and was horrible. When the lights went off I ended up killing seven cockroaches. One in which tried to climb into my ear. The neighbours next door to me in Room #6 were work and income emergency housing. They were clearly off their rockers on drugs. Awake all night arguing, running up and down outside, slamming doors, fighting and banging around in their room. Just after midnight they tried to break into my room. Lucky I had door well locked. They even punched my vehicle bonnet outside of my room, when they couldn't open my car door. I had a used soap in my shower and the shower gel bottle was three quarters empty as it had already been pre-used.The owners being polite were the only good thing.I would never recommend staying here. The furniture was dated, dirty, carpet was stained and the outdoor gardens were so run down and overgrown it was a real disappointment. It was once a respectable place now it's just been left to fall apart. Very very disappointed and I will not be returning.

Bad

The place didn't look like it had been maintained in years. The website showed a nice lovely garden but it was far from it. Glasses were not kept clean. Staff were unsure of out reservation and the place smelled like it hadn't been kept in clean.

Off the main highway. No traffic noise.

Rooms not sound proof. Heard argument with neighbours in next room. Office personal still in PJs at 9,00am when we checked out. Outside area needs tidy up.

I was very lucky because it was the only room left in the area when I booked for New Year's Day. It was clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. Friendly staff and an enjoyable stay.

No one being at reception when I arrived and waiting for 10 minutes after I texted the cellphone number before he arrived
