Location in the woods.

Short staffed. No help getting to our chalet in the rain. Long wait for a meal.

Location of rooms. Very, very long steep hill to climb to reach room. Disgusting buffet dinner on Sunday. Breakfast very average.

Clean peaceful !

Breakfast was good but could have been varied daily! Terrible coffee! Had to pay for a descent coffee!

The location is fabulous, however, the steps to the room gets old. A lot of up and down. I was in room 14. I suggest getting the rooms on the lower side of drive. The setting in the woods was excellant.

Steps. As I age, I dislike exterior steps to the rooms. There were 20 or more and getting to everything required more steps.

Beautiful scenery and a nice pool and tennis court. Lovely cabins.

Had a 5 course dinner at the restaurant and only one course was good. Staff rather confused and disorganised (although nice) during most service. Had to review all charges and correct.

Cosy in super stormy weather

Very steep walk to the room although they did offer a buggy service that we could have used but did not.

Beautiful chalet in the trees. Lovely deck to enjoy the view. Nice size room and bathroom. Swimming pool and spa were great. Facilities were good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Food was average. More variety for cooked breakfast would be good especially if you stay longer than 2 nights.

Room size was good and located in the bush with a big balcony.Very quiet.Bathroom was great.

Supplied cups and plates with some cutlery but no sink, hob or microwave.Expected us to wash the cutlery in the bathroom sink.No full length mirror.Not enough lights.Tv programs were poor.

Beautiful oasis surrounded by lush forest and hills! Luxury accommodations in a treehouse setting. The staff were very helpful. The pool was wonderfully warm and the hot tub relaxing after a day visiting nearby sites and walking trails.

The pool had to be closed by 8 pm because light attracts Christmas beetles this time of year.

Staff were wonderful and very friendly. The place is in a fantastic location. It was comfortable, peaceful, and lovely being up in the trees.

Fantastic location, free bikes, very good breakfast! Reception staff excellent and very accommodating. Well equipped rooms.

The pool was closed due to maintenance (unfortunately booking doesn’t give details to hotel so they couldn’t inform us).Dinner was average compared to a very good breakfast.Overall staff very polite and accommodating. Unfortunately due to a mistake on our side with the booking (only one person booked for breakfast). The breakfast staff called us out on this in front of all guests at the buffet, and although the situation was resolved very satisfactorily - we feel that discretion should be maintained when addressing this type of situation.

Restricted times for evening dinner in the restaurant.Not all travellers want to eat at 7.30pm!

All over property is beautiful as well as the rooms and the forest around.

The breakfast was amazing! I had continental and my husband had a full English !

We were a bit surprised that our chalet was such a long way up steep steps! My husband has two artificial hips and really struggled!

The property was beautiful. I wish we had more time to explore the restaurant and bar but we were on a tight schedule.

I didn't like the parking. It may have been a detail I overlooked when booking, but you are forced to drive around to your cabin, unload, go park the car a distance away & hike uphill back to the cabin. After a very long day this is a bit of an inconvenience.

Quiet, private and peaceful. A spacious room located among trees and forest setting.

That the car was parked really far away.

It was just amazing, more than we had expected. We felt like we were immersed into the surrounding nature, the room was cosy and had everything you could need. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was a treat!

It was perfect!

The location is absolutely stunning Nestled in the forest, like a treehouse. The peace and quietness is beautiful The bathroom floors and towel rack is heated.

Should have stayed longer to enjoy all the other facilities
