Albert Number 6 Motel

I do a lot of traveling and booked many, many motel room, but I have never had the owner/manager/clerk wanting to carry my luggage to my room. He exceeded any expectations I could have imagined. He went above and beyond. The room was wonderful.

Nothing! I will certinly will be returning and recommend Albert 6 to anyone visiting Whitianga out on Coromandel, New Zealand

Decent sized homely room. Basic amenities - mw, kettle and toaster. Comfy bed. Good location. Dyson fan

Now needs upgrading as its stretching the quirky vibe a bit. Noisy fridge. No sink and limited storage. Noisy propeller fan. Maintenance and cleaning lacking.

Unclear whether the water is safe to drink. Tap water is provided in a reusable sports bottle and there is a sticker that says if you want more tap water to use the tap near reception, implying the bathroom sink water isn’t drinkable. But in the provided booklet it says the tap water is safe to drink. It would be helpful to clarify this

Unpleasant,possibly the worst we have...

the netflix didn't work and there was a constant noise all night in the room which prevented us from sleeping .When told about this the manager became confrontational ,I said if the noise could not be dealt with we could not stay another night.We were duly informed the noise wasn't that bad and there would be no refund.So we left.

Great location. Very friendly and welcoming host. Comfy beds, just spot on for what we wanted for one night stay. I love cute and cosy places and this was one of them. Thought it was great.

No lift. Room very hot but ceiling fan helped.

Room was nice and clean and staff very friendly. Ideally placed for the beach, harbour and the town

Fans were provided which was great but the room did get quite hot.

Great location and apartment. Easy parking. Fab staff let us extend and rearranged their bookings to allow my Ill partner time to sleep before we moved on to next place. Also lovely cats

Quiet location but someone close to town , bars and restaurants. Air conditioning would make a big difference as it was super hot the weekend we were there.Owners are very welcoming.

Air con is only thing that would have enhanced our experience.

Location was great, easy walk to the beach, town, cafes.

Perfect location. Perfect shower. Excellent for our budget. We come back every year. 100% recommended.

A little noisy with the people staying upstairs but not too bad.

The best location in Town. The rooms are very Big and clean. A lot of option of restaurants and bars and 2 minutes from the Beach. Loved it !

Location near beach and downtown was good

It is a low cost motel. It felt like it was run down.

Everything, Lovely people, rooms clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable and a 5 min walk to the beach and town. Everything very handy. And Ava the cat is gorgeous.

The walls are thin and could hear the neighbour's child and dad at 6am. Did mention to staff who was going to talk to them.
