Kerigold Secluded Chalets Motel

Great facilities. It felt very quiet & secluded even though it is located right in town. I could walk to everything too even though I had a car. Sarah is also lovely who runs the chalets. Highly recommend! Don’t hesitate.

Efficient and friendly check-in. Spacious and clean accommodation. Quiet setting, yet close to dining and shopping.

Really liked the location, quiet but close to the main street.

Would have been nice to have someone welcome us personally when we arrived.

Super location, situated in the middle of an orchard. Nice Chalet with deck.

Was a lovely little chalet perfect for our needs. Was great being able to bring our fur baby too. Also very stoked that we could watch the warriors from the comfort of our chalet rather than venture outside in the rain.

The rain but that couldn’t be helped.

Great location, easy walk to town. Nice and quiet, everything was clean and well serviced each day.

Kitchen could have been a little better equipped - no freezer and crockery was limited. Hot water ran out each day when showering (4 people, shortish showers)

Not alot did like the fruit trees

Unit was not cleaned i didn't like the fact rust was coming out of the taps and the smell when having a soon was chlorine. Found a pubert hair in the shower. The beds were uncomfortable. Overall not good experience.

Sarah was very friendly and helpful. She advised us on the short walks around the area.

Excellent location - walking distance to town and amenities. Sarah (the host) was very helpful and friendly. The room was a last minute booking due to a flight cancellation, but Sarah was very happy to accommodate me and was very helpful. The room has recently been refurbished and has all the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. It was clean, airy and bright. Despite being near a busy road, the room was very quiet and I slept incredibly well :) I would happily book to stay here again.

Great location. Wonderful on site setup. Cabins and chalets are brilliant, and nice and clean. Netflix available with their own on site account - so I didn't have to login etc. Good blackout curtain for main entrance / window / slider. I hate light seeping in before I wake up!

Advertised that select sky channels are available but they were either - not available. Or I, was unable to access them!A sheer curtain (in conjunction with the main blackout curtain) would've been ideal, to allow light in but give privacy during the day for the large slider door/window.Bed was a bit on the soft side but I understand you cannot please everyone as we all have differing preferences

Beautiful setting.. close to all shops and cafes and very clean. Lovely little spot.

This is our fourth time staying at Kerigold so obviously we really like it. The location is excellent, the studio chalet was a good size and the bathroom was huge. The place itself is quiet and peaceful. The staff and owners are very nice and helpful.There were a couple of downsides - both easy to fix. The first was that we stayed for 6 nights but there only 2 hangers in the wardrobe between the 2 of us. We meant to ask for more but we had a full-on week so didn't get around to it. Maybe consider adding a few more?The second was that the studio units get very hot at night. Even with the air-con on, we still found it tricky to get the temperature right. If there had been one or two fly screens on the windows, we could have slept with the windows open which would have been more pleasant.However, overall it was great and it would still be our first choice as a place to stay in Kerikeri.

We both loved the modern bathroom and set up in the studio. Was plenty of room to park and we were allowed to have our dog which is a huge saving and convenience or us. Would definitely stay again

Friendly staff. Decent and spacious unit. Nice bathroom.

Wifi quality was borderline. Dropped out of their hotspot quite often. Low bandwith. The peripheral units probably need another repeater. Surfaces of the kitchenette area were not super clean. Amneties were not restocked.

No breakfast. Location was perfect, plenty of nearby eateries.

The hosts were lovely, made us feel very welcome, even with the dog.

Great place to stay, lovely setting. The only improvement would be the bbq which needed a good clean. We would be happy to stay again We did stay an extra night

Perfect chalet for us.we spent two nights in comfort. Everything we needed was there. Amazing walk-in shower. Great bed, comfortable couch.Two blocks to the supermarket and plenty of places to eat within walking distance.Absolutely loved our little chalet with outdoor table and chairs. We will be back again.

Minor detail, the step up to get in and out of the chalet. Not enough to stop us coming again.
