Kauri Park Motel

The rooms were clean with loaction so close to everything, the Saturday market and cafe was amazing which is next door.Jackie was wonderful. We booked through Booking.com and requested two rooms together, and she made sure we were placed right next to each other, which was amazing. This was especially appreciated because at another accommodation the week before, we were told that requests made through a third‑party site wouldn’t be honoured so we were placed and 2 end of the accommodation!

Room was great, had a spa bath we weren't expecting. A few minutes out of city centre but not a problem. Next door the the Chocolate Factory was a plus.

Nothing we didn't like

I have stayed quite a few times and will always return. we stay in the wheelchair accessible room and it's fantastic a lot if space for the wheelchair and the bathroom is nice and large.

it would be great if a shower chair was in the room

I’ve been returning to this place for more than 10 years, they are the best place in Kerikeri in my eyes. Most of all I like the feeling of relaxation that I get from the flora and fauna.

Lots of room and privacy to enjoy your own space. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and gardens made it feel very tranquil.

Couch is hard in unit 9.Road and fridge are noisy.TV is small by todays standards.

Nice motel, close to Kerikeri. Great Thai Restaurant (Green's) next door.

Parking was tricky, because everyone has large vehicles, driving in entrance and around accommodation area was tight. If all units had been occupied, it would be impossible.

price was abit high for 2 adults and 2 kids .thort I was getting a spa bath so that was a disappointment but stil enjoyed the day

Loved the location and Jackie was so great to deal with,room was cozy and clean spa bath was a bonus,the pool area was great.

Lovely warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Large, clean accommodation with apple and plum trees in the garden and plenty windfall fruits to pick. The pool was clean and not too cold.

Unit was clean and very well presented. Loved the privacy. The pool area amazing and a great area to relax under the gazebo on a nice summers day.We will be visiting this Motel again and stay longer.

Unit would benefit from a heat pump/air con unit. However, the fan that was available was suitable to keep our room cool.

Toilet floor can get very wet after showering.

Had a fish smell in room. Think maybe some ‘fishos’ had spilt something in previous occupation?We didn’t complain as staff were very nice!

The peaceful setting of the property, nestled amongst beautiful gardens and fruit-bearing trees. There are also resident doves which perch in surrounding trees.Great location tucked away off the main road into Kerikeri, you don't get any of the street noise and it's location is within only minutes of Kerikeri township.
