Dissapointing
Room has lot of dusts and looks like the room was not vacummed properly. We stayed three nights there and we requested from the reception to checkout around 10.30 (30 minutes leter than the normal time) but the receptionist asked us to pay extra 50 plus dollars for that. We had the dinner from the hotel restaurants and we had to stay almost 1.5 to 2 hours to have our food. Staff were friendly but not professional.
Passable
we were up for the interschools weekend, many of the days the kids needed to be at the event at 8.45am, and the staff would not open the kitchen for breakfast early. So often the kids missed breakfast. As breakfast was basically toast and cereal it would have been very easy for the breakfast facilities to be open early to accommodate most of the guests needs
Helpful staff and good location right near a shuttle station. The free breakfast was nice and a great way to fuel up for a day of skiing. Having the ski hire within the lodge made it really convenient as well. The drying rooms were much appreciated and we were very grateful to be able to store our luggage in the storage room after we checked out.
It wasn’t very clean - the bathroom floor was covered in the previous guests hair. The light from the TV (even when turned off) was so bright and shone directly towards us when we were trying to go to sleep - had to cover it up with a scarf.
The bed seemed clean and the bathroom was nice
The cupboard smelt like spew, and the balcony isn’t a balcony. It’s a fire exit
Close enough to villageAffordable in comparison to other accommodation Large bathroom Complimentary basic breakfast Staff friendly Ski shop was convenient
Could add some simple things to make the stay easier. Cups for tea etc are included but no dish soap in the rooms to clean the cups after use. Staff were accommodating and did provide this when we asked. A microwave would also be convenient especially when travelling with babies who need bottles heated. The cost of $130 to add a cot in the room was a surprise as most other accommodations include this in your stay without additional cost.
Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient with 10m away from the village free shuttle bus. Internet access across the mountain was unstable but Duck Inn WiFi was good enough for checking email. Breakfast was very convenient.
There is on lunch or casual dinner. We had to go back to the village for a quick bite. Restaurant only offers 2 or 3 courses meals.
Staff helpful
Bathroom. Room small. Drying room not hot. Place run down.
Location and accessibility was great
The restorant at the accomadation had a very poor selection. What was on offer tasted really nice.Apart from the many the staff and facility were amazing
The breakfast was good but we had a meal in the restaurant and found it very over priced for what yu received
Some chairs in our room
Staff was super friendly and helpful, cozy vibes
Room was dirty. Had long black hair on our cleaned towels, condoms on the ground…
Staff were friendly
It felt like a backpacker accomodation not something that was costing $600/night. To be honest I’ve stayed in much nicer backpacker accommodation than what this place offers. Average room, very small bathroom. Quite run down. No heaters turned on in the dry room. Even though it stated it would be warmed at certain times of the day. So snow gear could not dry. No table in the room, so trying to get some computer work done was awkward. Couldn’t even use their lounge area downstairs as it only opened from 5pm. So had to resort to sitting on the bed to get some work done.
The proximity of the place, 5-10 min walk to the Village centre.
Even if its free. there are quite limited food options for breakfast. They should include bacon, or eggs at least.
Location
Cleanliness not upto par, odour in the room & shared balcony.
Poor
It was okay but just a few things that occurred during our stay that they could work on.- Toilets near the reception were not kept clean and no toilet paper- Staff could be educated further on transportation around the mountain as we were told to go to the village Centre and catch a shuttle bus to the overnight car park which was incorrect as they don’t accept luggage, we had to book a rideshare.- Room was dusty, specifically on the bedside lamps and bed headboard.- Random electrical outages occurring many times throughout the night- Staff could respect privacy a little more as we had a worker open our room door at night without saying so and without permission- The WiFi didn’t reach our room which was frustrating as reception is horrible.
Staff was nice
Tiny room with no desk or end table. Very minimal choices for included breakfast.
Close to the village
It’s was too hot with heater left on and internal heater on aswell Was sweating
Friendly staff and extremely clean
Lock up room to store luggage before and after checking in/out is accessible to everyone. I was a bit concerned but that’s just me.
