YHA Thredbo

Did nopt like the fact tht the extracter in the bathroom went non stop until 9.30 we were told it would turn off automatically at 7.30 but it did not. Also to come on at 7.30am could wake some people up, we happened to leave before then.

Friendly staff. Very helpful. Great facility.

Julie was an amazing host and she made sure everyone was taken care of. She kept starting early and staying back late to make sure things were running smoothly. It is definitely her superpower - Grant was right ;). The hotel was amazingly clean!

Unsecured toilet, there should be a lock. during our stay, the other guests looked so suspicious and they're waiting for someone especially women to come in. theres also so much spaces in the toilet area and shower area that we felt uncomfortable because of someone might look on us.

Exceptional. The staff were super friendly. The location nice and property pristine.

The car park was far away.

The facilities, kitchen, toilets, room and common area were clean. I was a little bumped out when I found out that there was no parking at the hostel because I arrived late. But the overnight parking was super useful and not too busy thankfully.

The rooms had a smeg kettle, very fancy for a hostel.Loved the rooms, very comfy, good location and staff were great.

Julie the property manager was such a warm and welcoming person who made us feel so at home and cared for. She went above and beyond to care for everyone & create a sense of community in the communal spaces. My son and I were there for a mountainbike event and had a private room which was very comfy. Pristinely clean facilities and lovely views/location.

Parking

Clean and humble, YHA Thredbo is a terrific option for those seeking to explore the area on a budget. Julie at front desk was infallibly helpful.

The location is awkward for parking - it’s a fair hike to the closest public overnight spot - and there seem to be more shower cubicles than toilets.

The YHA has a very friendly atmosphere. Small but adequate and well planned bedrooms. Very clean. Lovely crisp linens and soft towels. Tv in room you can sync your phone to. Comfy mattresses. The common areas are well planned, very comfy with amazing views. 2 great sized kitchens with everything you need easily accessible. Great location. Good price. Friendly staff that are very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

It was more than just a place to stay. Location and views were spectacular.

Not enough bathrooms if the place is full.

Great location and value for money. Of course, 4 random people in one room is potentially causing conflicts with sleeping times. But it was very acceptable. Kitchen and shared area are very pleasant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Safe and secure MTB indoor storage.

Only 1x male toilet is causing congestion.
