Pros +
- I enjoyed my stay a lot. Thredbo is a nice mountain village, and the hotel is just in the centre of it and very close to the Kosciuszko chairlift. It is possible to opt out of room service to get some credit that can be spent, for example, in a nearby bakery for a good breakfast.
- Good location, clean and good sized room with bath. Staff were friendly. Parking on site.
- The location and the breakfast buffet. Also very keen on the Bakery.
Cons -
- Too hot / room was stuffy even with a fan and windows open. I got ice cubes yo try and cool down. Trouble falling asleep due to heat. No streaming. Disappointing bar at hotel not open during summer. Limited food options.
- TV remote control was very difficult to use. I would recommend that a new remote control is bought for room 122.

Breakfast was great, beautiful hot and cold breakfast, great start for a day on the snow.

Location perfect. Staff very helpful. Bar area very nice
The snow mountain Theado was very close to the hotel. The little restaurants and cafes was within complex that was very handy then going outside the freezing cold.
The rooms were very small to the price we paid and downstairs pup can get a bit noise especially if you have kids or need quite time also the rooms are very thin as you can hear your neighbours talking from each walls especially they came back from the pup downstairs.
Great location, alpine style of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Rooms are smaller than expected.
Very friendly, supportive and accommodating staff. Excellent location and clean with everything one could need for a lovely stay. Breakfast is outstanding.
My bed (a single) sagged in the middle making it a little uncomfortable to sleep.
Loved the view, room had everything I needed and break out spaces were welcoming and well-appointed
Staff very attentive and helpful. Buffet breakfast was great. Location was perfect for walking bikes to lifts each morning.
Lounge area around the fire was lovely. Would have been nice if the bar was open in the afternoon/evenings. Great location. Many stairs but the back entrance to the village square reduced the number of steps in carrying luggage.
The location is unbeatable and the lounge area and fire was gorgeous and comfy
We had to wait while our beds were changed from queen to singles ( travelling with my daughter) and the guy at check in made out like we were being difficult although we had requested this on booking. He also handed over extra milk as if it were a bar of gold
Room had a mountain side view which was nice. Decor was "aged" to the extent that it was almost fashionable again! It helped that I have stayed before and knew what to expect. Included breakfast would suit everyone. Close and free parking.
Had to go to the local pub for dinner - although being realistic opening the hotel restaurant would not be economic outside of ski season. However, a "non-pub" drink at the bar would have been appreciated. Bathroom small without an exhaust fan
Location in relation to the Village an lifts was excellent. Breakfast was the same daily and while it was good, it could have had a bit more variety.
The room could have done with more lighting.
Great location, good size room compared to some ski lodge rooms. Good breakfast room with views up mountain. Public spaces in hotel looking a bit tired, as does its Alpine pub. Needs a refresh. Nowhere really nice for dining open this time of year. Great steaks at the pub.
The location was superb just in front of the Ski lift systems for the Chair lift, Bubble lifts, and v close to the town 1-2 mins walk. Our rooms were also positioned by the side entrance so we could go outside onto flat ground and walk into town and back. The Pub was open and we had a great Steak & Salad. The Hotel was good but not super luxury is good for a few nights (3-4 nights) it was clean and they have done the best with it.
There are a lot of stairs in the Hotel we were on the 3rd level and they helped us with the Luggage which was very kind but if you are over 70 years it is quite hard to get up and down all the stairs - in my opinion they need to put in 1-2 elevators for the upper floors I know this is a big expense but it is worth it.
Location from main facilities
Access to room Noisy aircon outside room on roof space & hot room from reflected heat from the metal external roof Broken shower rose on arrival & repaired efficiently
Very comfortable, lovely decor, assistance with baggage, buffet breakfast, bistro, convenient parking. Hotel in the centre of the village.
Proximity to chair lifts to get up to the mountain.Proximity of tourist information.Proximity to cafes and local pub.
Bed was uncomfortable Three flights of stairs with heavy bags was a challenge.
The room clean and well presented, the location waa fabulous and the staff were great.
The bar wasn't open in the communal lounge area. The lounge was available but no open fire was put on.
