    Pros +

    • Location, brekkie and comfort
    • The food was amazing. Bus shuttle was ideal, never had to wait long. The lounge was quiet and relaxing.
    • Location was great,

    Cons -

    • Price, absolutely gouged this year $3000 ea for 5 day snow trip Will be looking overseas next year
    • A bit hard to find food during the day. Not normally a problem as breakfast was exceptional but my type 1 diabetic daughter had a few hypoglycaemic episodes, apparently cold causes her glucose levels to drop and as she hadn't had many lately I didn't pack enough food to compensate. Long story short, partner found very expensive chocolate bars at perisher. Next year will be more prepared, might need bigger fridge in room though. As her Insulin has to go in fridge too.
    • Shower cold tap was broken , postponed our showers.breakfast was basic

    The location

the facilities and rooms need an update. the beds were very hard. needs to be small play area for kids / toddlers somewhere in the hotel (not a part of the child minding service) somewhere parents can supervise young children with access to some play equipment if they aren’t out on the ice. The bistro needs to have more on the menu or change daily. No vegan options. at least one off he chair lifts should have been operational at Smiggins during our stay while there was good snow (this is a Perisher issue but could be passed on from the hotel)

We loved the dining options and the staff were extremely accommodating. We had a Mountain View room with a gorgeous view of the chairlift out our window. The entertainment options were great also. Di, Jasper and the service staff were always cheery and helpful. We felt very well looked after and will certainly be back soon :)

Unfortunately the lifts at Smiggins shut early prior to our arrival, however the staff offered lifts to Perisher in addition to the shuttle bus service. We were also given complimentary locker hire which was handy. The lift operation was out of their control at the hotel as it is a resort operations decision, so I wouldn’t particularly say it was a negative on their part.

Very good breakfast, maybe lit a bit more choices for vegans

Some small tray under the jag with boiling water will be useful

    10MariaPosted on: 7-31-2022

staffs were very friendly and helpful. location convenience and I like that it is very family friendly.

food and restaurant selections minimal. It would be nice to have spa or steam room or massage.

    7SullivanPosted on: 6-30-2022

Good value for money but not as convenient as staying in Perisher

The dinner facilities weren't very good, waiting over an hour on multiple occasions for pizza with no explanation

Very comfortable, clean. Kid friendly - kids club fantastic. Great location.

    8JamesPosted on: 6-26-2022

The location was ideal.. but more so if you are a pro skier as the lift and condolas are just a hundred feet away.

Booked for 2A and 1C. Ended up Hotel registered as 2A although I show the booking that it was for 2A and 1C. Ended up, I was made to top up close to AUD200 for the 2 nights.

convenient location, great amenities and very helpful staff

    10RoshanPosted on: 6-19-2022

On snow accommodation, skiing is a little bit easier.

Parking filled up quickly. Bit slippery getting up there, if space was available.

    10RoguePosted on: 6-17-2022

    clean

not worth the price , the slopes and the center were closed

    8JhihPosted on: 6-14-2022

The location is absolutely great ?

For food wise not much option. And food court close early and food sold out really fast.

    9JanePosted on: 8-1-2021

Lovely team, great location, comfortable rooms, great guest lounge, and super clean.

Some more healthy options like porridge would be great for breakfast but otherwise excellent.

    9DonnaPosted on: 7-13-2021

the food far exceeded my expectations.only bad critique is that the bar, dining and reception are looking a little tired.

    8AndrewPosted on: 6-29-2021

The Familiness of the Hotel, it's location to the snowfields, the staff who did what they could under trying circumstances. The Lockers. Kids Club.

Strange set up with the restaurants and bar. The darkness of the Guest's Restaurant area at night.

    7PeiyuPosted on: 6-25-2021

Good location can play snow in front of the hotel, locker was a plus for the ski equipment, staff was really helpful.

Room was small and cafe closes very early and no kitchen facilities.

    8AlanPosted on: 6-25-2021

Hotel was good and good food and friendly staff

Lack of clear information on web site for Perisher. Had to prepay for ski chairlift tickets for beginners ski/snowboard lessons and no chance to use them. Total ripoff.

    8EunicePosted on: 6-23-2021

Kids club, so adults can have some relaxing time away from kids.

Everything was perfect, as it is a kids friendly place, you will expect noisiness from time to time. Other than that, I have no complaints at all! Will always be back, my favourite ski resort
