Discovery Parks - Lake Hume, Victoria

The cabin was spacious, clean , the pool and spa area was so beautiful, felt like being in a 5 star resort. Staff very friendly and the park was beautiful.

The location

The cabin was in a shocking state. Not clean and falling apart. The water and heater would not work without making a racket, the fridge kept turning off, there were hairs all on the ground in the bathroom. Towel racks falling down. We booked for 6 and 4 of the beds unmade. For $200 we expected a clean comfortable stay. But I would not recommend staying in a cabin there.

We had a very short visit to see our daughter so the location was ideal for us. The cabin was very clean and spacious. Definitely loved that there was an electric blanket and heater.The staff were very helpful and responsive to my emails/messages. We could see that there were activities but our stay was short so didnt utilise any of them.

Quiet location, cabin had everything we needed for short stay.

Pool was freezing cold, need to visit in warmer months. 10-minute drive into town for supplies

It had a very nice atmosphere. Pool and spa where fantastic. Our cabin was spotless.

Not great!

The cabin was so tiny, could not even move in the bedroom or bathroom i have stayed at other discovery parks which were much better. The thing that we didn't like the most was everything closed at 6pm pool etc. What you expect the kids to do after 6pm, the lady with her torch was also very rude to everyone. I won't be back to this discovery park.

We had a lovely stay, however I found the curfews a little odd andclosing the pool at 6pm was also unusual and on a warm evening when the Sun hasn’t even gone down yet.. the rotunda was a lovely space.

The room was for six people, but since we booked it for four, some of the beds hadn’t been cleaned or prepared, and the mattress covers were very dirty — it would’ve been better if we hadn’t seen them at all. There were also a lot of bugs in front of the lakefront rooms. We checked in late, and since the lights were left on outside the door, all the insects from the lake had gathered there. If the lights had been off, it probably wouldn’t have been that bad.

Cabin was on lake front with lovely views.

Cleanliness could be better. There were wipe marks over the TV and we needed to clean the table and dishes before using them,

Check-in and moving in no problem. Nice swimming pool.

Middle of a 'mobile home', fixed caravans site.

Stayed here several times. Feels comfortable, help staff, love looking at the view.

The water in the shower was only luke warm.Minor maintenance needed on walls and floor.

Facilities were great. Lots for the grandkids to do. Everyone was friendly

what I didn't like was it was a work trip and we didn't get to stay and enjoy this holiday park

Clean, quiet, plenty to do

All facilities especially resort pool with a warm temperature.Being able to book poolside pavilion for a private function.Room cooled for hot arrival.Very friendly reception staff.Great communication prior, during and after stay.

Fantastic pool area, cabin was good and clean.

The view was very good although the water level was down. All the staff were pleasant and informative.

There was nothing that we disliked

Beautiful, lush green tree scaped grounds, gorgeous pool, great facilities, friendly staff, clean rooms, awesome place

Wifi was a little slow, that's all. Too much fun to have anyway!

Park itself great

Room wasn't value for money. Very old, lots of cracks, paint chipping.
