Eastern Reef Cottages

What a GORGEOUS place! The hosts were so accommodating, with clear instructions sent online and friendly support given in person. The cottage itself was the star of the show and one of the nicest places I have stayed. In addition to being beautiful to look at, it was incredibly functional, with the kitchen particularly well appointed for longer stays. The garden in the middle of the property is so beautiful and we enjoyed mornings and evenings watching the birds that frequented it.

I booked too short a stay! This place would be an ideal base of operations for a family getaway on the Great Ocean Road. Now I just have to convince the nieces and nephews to come...

Lovely hidden gem. We booked spontaneously on our Great Ocean Road trip.and found this place so lovely. The cottage was small but very well equipped. Kitchen had everything we needed Even an BBQ was available. Perfect for a little weekend relaxation

We had to leave already after one day!! Would have loved to stay one more night

The house has a very unique design where we are so impressed. Enough beds for a total 8persons families. Each bed has mattress heater that we feel so warm during winter season.

Just out of town, clean and tidy rooms, beautiful fresh lavender cut in the room.

Very well located and appointed! Loved the personal touch eg. fresh flowers in the rooms. Clean and very well equipped. Loved the reclaimed wood and shells in the buildings.

I found the lounge a little uncomfortable but other than that it was fabulous!

The cabin was prepared prior to arrival. When we got there, it was clean and felt warm to accommodate visitors. Leroy was my point of contact on the day of the arrival. They are responsive. It was Easter Sunday and we appreciate the chocolate bunny that was left in our room to our surprise!

Not that I didn't like... I just felt a bit scared when 2 small dogs came up to me barking as I was on my way to their garage/reception to say hi when we arrived.

Loved the easy, trouble-free arrangements, the welcoming and beautiful environment including the crockery but most of all, the beds! So comfortable - there was clear effort put into these.

It was great to stay in Eastern Reef Cottages. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Excellent facilities and location.

Host gave very clear instructions for check in. Parking was free. Cottage was spacious. There were very cute sheep outside the cottage.

The air con started going off & on in 10 mins cycles from 4am onwards. Ie it shuts off every 10 mins for 10 mins then starts for 10 mins then shuts off and repeats. The noise & temperature pattern wasn’t conducive to sleep. The shower water pressure wasn’t very strong.

Loved the ambience & decor, great location, all facilities in working order, comfy beds, good shower.

Instructions for using tv not helpful (second icon noted did not appear to exist on the remote pictured) & therefore could not access live tv - maybe user error?

The host was very friendly, and the check-in process was seamless. The cottage was warm and cozy, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We slept very well and had a wonderful stay.

Lovely home with great character and creative decoration, eye for detail like fresh cut flowers on table, beautifu view. Quick response from owner. We loved our too short one night stay!

Cute and cosy cottage. Very well maintained. Excellent beds and mattresses. Perfectly located at just minutes drive of the most important sightseeing spots of the great ocean road. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Wonderful garden and nice sunset views. Parking just in front of the door. We will ome back again.

The staff were extremely friendly and communicative, making check-in and stay very smooth. The entire cottage was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with well-maintained facilities that made for a pleasant and convenient stay.

Nothing in particular. Everything met or exceeded expectations.
