Portside Motel

Great hotel, great location. Lady that checked me in was very friendly. Can walk to all the restaurants and beach, but out of the hustle and bustle of the main street.

The description is not accurate. There is no cooking equipment in the room. However, the picture shows that there are kitchens and cooking equipment.

Location and friendly staff

Great location, super friendly, and helpful owner. The room was spacious and comfy. Des helped with tips around town and nearby. He was also very sweet to make sure we knew about the heat coming and to plan accordingly. (Special shoutout to Skip who was a great welcoming host.)

Everything about Portside was amazing! Great amenities, comfortable bed, wonderful hosts! It was a joy to stay here.

Beautiful room--the decor, the layout, the amenities--all were carefully chosen and enhanced the overall experience. Owners/care takers were also especially friendly, offering ideas on what else to see as we traveled the Great Ocean Road. We would stay here again.

Lovely Motel. Great host. Clean , comfortable & roomy. Nice little outdoor patio. Walking distance to restaurants, pubs, groceries.

Found curtained shower a little tricky as the bathroom floor was wet following.

The details, frest cut flowers, night light, hot chocolate and the sweet lady who took care of us.

Very friendly greeting when we arrived, making sure we had all we needed. Onsite parking with a dedicated spot by room. Plenty of space in the room and an outside seating area. Easy walk into town.

Shower was small but not that big of a deal.

A little road noise in the morning, but white noise covered it pretty well.

The location was very easy to find, and very near the beach. It has some restaurants around the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. I spent just one night with my mom. It’s a good stop for someone that would like to enjoy the cities around the great ocean road.

FABULOUS stay in Port Campbell. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt so well taken care of, welcomed, and charmed. Especially nice were the bath products! The room is so well-equipped and we enjoyed our dinner on the private patio. The coffee machine in the morning was a true treat. HIGHLY recommend!!

We really enjoyed this cozy little motel, even if it isn't very close to town. It is possible to walk to a restaurant for a meal but it's a bit of a distance. For a simple overnight stay it works.

Just be aware this is a cozy little motel.
