Novotel Bur Dubai

The staff were so thoughtful - the concierge remembered me from my two disjoint stays while in Dubai days apart. It made the service feel personable. The staff were very attentive and professional.

One of the rooms smelled like cigarettes. We didn't mind that much but it was quite off-putting and left a scent on our belongings.

Modern hotel with nice amenities, convenient to Dubai Metro. Has 24/7 food options, wifi was good, bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant & common areas were clean. Hotel was on a quiet street with little if any noise.

It's convenient to healthcare city and a short ride from the airport, but it's in a business district. If you are a tourist, there's likely other locations more suitable to a vacation, but it was great for my business trip.

late check in as we suppose to change the room , I was expecting transfer to new room on time.

Terrible stinky room and horrible hard pillows. Everything was dirty and the shower pressure was non existent

Delayed check-in by hotel. Someone who had travelled from another country, wasting time in getting the room ready on reaching there, is not a good thing for a hotel like Novotel. Prior online check-in as mandated by the hotel was made. They were informed of the arrival time in advance. But above was the experience. Also, on the second day, separate request was required for getting the room cleaned and the towels changed. A tooth brush was expected in room, which was missing.

Didn’t like much! We came after a week spent in a so called three star hotel in Abu Dhabi, and I must say, this Novotel (four stars(?) ) is far lower in every aspect. The welcoming registration person was not friendly, the room had food crumbs on the carpet, the carpet had several permanent stains (so did the hallway carpet) the bed sheets also had stains, the breakfast buffet was a mess of poor management and poor food choices, along with long queues for coffee …….Not enjoyable at all.

The location was close to the dubai downtown and convenient for our travel. The Hotel and room are clean and well maintained.

Unprofessional behavior of one of the front office/ reception employees. Moreover, my charging cable was missed and I didn’t get it back from them since they said it’s not there!!!!

Breakfast was very limited in terms of cuisine, some guests were using their hands to plate their food, when I informed the staff they handled it professionally and alerted the staff inside the buffet, but still it kept happening.

I like the hangout cafe staff as well as the swimming area staff , they are so helpful and child friendly.

The waffles were incredible — perfectly cooked and easily one of the highlights of the breakfast. I just wish they appeared on the menu more than once during my stay!The parathas could be a bit softer. I tried them on different mornings, but they stayed on the firmer side — a small tweak that would make breakfast even better.
