Carpet smell and bad ventilation of the room

I chose the George Hotel for its location, It was exactly as I hoped

The music on the top floor was overwhelming.

Position,room confortable, good restaurants.

Central location overlooking the Creek close to Abra boarding area and Metro Al Las station. Great value for the money.

I stayed on the 9th floor, but the terrible bar noise from the 10th floor continued until 4:30 a.m. :(

The most advantageous aspect is the hotel's location, which is near both the metro and popular markets.

The bathroom has an outdated structure; the roof is not properly fitted, the hair dryer is non-functional, and there are issues with hot water. During the electrician's attempt to repair the hair dryer, a short circuit occurred, causing the fuse to trip.

Basically the hotel is acceptable, however a 'selling point' was the views of the heritage area and the creek, this may be the case in some rooms, certainly not in mine, which was allegedly a 'superior room' Staff not interested in situation.

No reliable internet access, impossible to send e-mails and reception staff fairly disinterested in the situation

Location was great,all I needed was really close to the hotel

The room window was kinda poor for my room compare to others There¿s construction outside the hotel,so I could hear the noise all day and night

Very friendly staffs, specifically Younus (Cleaning) & Althaf (Room Service) are friendly & very helpful. Excellent location, All souqs (Spices, Gold, Textile, etc) are at walkable distance. Metro station is nearby in 300 mts. Great view from the Hotel

Night bar in the hotel makes more louder music, which i feel uncomfortable to sleep lately.

Location of the hotel is extremely close to major markets or souq. Good market, spice market, fabric market and perfume market. Walking distance to the Al-Ras metro station makes it easy to access the the green line metro. My room was very comfortable

Check in process needs improvement.

Nothing at all, just wasted my money and 4 night rest of my life

Couldn't sleep because of loud noise outside and disco beats. People were watching football shouting outside, their shouts were as if they were in the room. Dirty bathroom, even we changed the room but it was worst. Not recommending this hotel at all

the room is wide and clean the location is good

-the windows were locked so I could not enjoy the view -lot of people making noise on the floor before their room all the day even at 4am or 5am ! -few channels found on tv

Bathroom fixtures need upgrading

The hotel was convenient to the Dubai Creek and shopping that is why we picked this location.

There were many things we did not like. The most important issue was that we could hear music all night from a disco and the music was very loud, there was a boom-boom noise from drums. It was very difficult for us to get sleep or get anything to eat.

I cannot say enough good things about this experience! The unexpected room upgrade was a highlight—the suite was incredibly spacious and the views were breathtaking. Its location overlooking the creek provided a stunning backdrop throughout my stay. Special mention to the breakfast buffet, which was huge and offered a variety that would be perfect for a family. Even as a solo traveler, I was thoroughly impressed.

Extremely disappointed with the hotel’s aggressive booking management. While the stay itself was excellent, the pre-arrival experience was stressful. Despite having used my card for multiple bookings in the region without issue, the hotel claimed it was invalid and threatened to cancel my reservation within 30 minutes if I didn't pay immediately (it was by luck that I was online at that moment). This forced me into a rushed payment that resulted in higher currency conversion fees than if I had paid at the hotel as planned. It was an unnecessary hurdle for a confirmed booking.

All facilities are amazing especially the sea view and the room standard was awesome well organized and clean with chargeable mini Bar.

I like the room ambiance. The room was big and clean with good views . Must visit every one

Just a little things that staff didn’t explain to us before about the room things such as nuts snacks . They didn’t tell us that its not complementary and when we check out then they tell us which was quite not good

Staff very friendly and helpful, the upgrade my to sweet room.. The restaurant is open until late.. the location is near the river and souq.. is walking distance to the place that I want to go too

In general, my experience with hotel service is bad, and I expected the same with The George Hotel, but when I entered the hotel to complete my reservation process, my view has completely changed to extremely positive. Really, the right employee in the right position is very important. Mr. Haider, the receptionist, showed high efficiency and professionalism in his work, which made my stay at the hotel more comfortable. I thank the management of The George Hotel and especially Mr. Haider. George Hotel will be my destination whenever I come to Dubai.Best,Mohamed Ibrahim
