Nothing was good

I want to make a complaint against the hotel general manager. I booked a room at Somewhere Hotel Apartment in Dubai through Booking.com and arrived at the hotel around 4:30 PM. Upon arrival, the receptionist (Priyanka) informed me that the room would be ready in 5 minutes. Based on that assurance, I proceeded to pay for the room.Unfortunately, after more than 30 minutes of waiting, the room was still not ready. When I raised the issue with the General Manager, Mr. Mohsen Desouky, he responded in a very rude and unprofessional manner. Instead of resolving the matter, he started shouting when I told him I wanted to cancel my booking due to the delay.I am extremely disappointed with the poor customer service and the unacceptable behavior of the hotel’s management. I did not feel welcomed or respected as a guest. I kindly request Booking.com to take this complaint seriously and look into the conduct of the hotel and its staff. I also request an apology and appropriate action to be taken.This experience does not meet the standards I expect when booking through Booking.com, and I hope no other guest has to go through a similar situation.

Responsiveness & kindness of reception staff

The photo showing the actual room on booking.com doesn't reflect the actual suite. The photo was misleading.We had to upgrade to another room for an extra cost.

Location the best.

Shower working very bad. You can switch only cold or only hot water. Ventilation in the room was damaged and always gives noise. Aircon no possible to switch off. It was fresh paint smell in the room.

Close to metro and well located

Nothing much great, the staff are mostly doing basic work and nothing extraordinary. TV didn’t even turn on, no control for room lights ,coffee machine didn’t work and easily priced.

The staffs are very welcoming. The hotel apartment suits our need as a family as we need a kitchen to clean our Baby bottles and make Baby food too. its location is perfect just less than a minute to the Metro station. We Will surely comeback

Disappointing

There is Cofee machine in teh room but no any plug in. There were live insect in the room and hotel. Resturant is terrible. Break fast is cheating in the pictures of booking. you can not eat break fast. I don't like to come back this hotel any more. all lights are working with just one power switch.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very courteous and helpful.

Initially opening the room, it smelled musty, but after a few minutes, it went away.Living room tv wasn't working very well, but the bedroom had one too.

The location of the hotel is really good. Just below the building you’ll have access for the dubai metro redline and CityCentre Deira mall. And just by walking in the surrounding area youll find different restaurants and supermarkets for your needs. The staffs are kind and easy to approach they bumped our accommodation into a much bigger and better room.

The one thing i dont recommend is take their breakfast package as it will be the same everyday and you dont have many choices regarding the foods.

Accessible to metro and mall

The room is quiet old, dirty and dusty. Price for the room is not so worth it

The hotel staffers and service were amazing that my family and I were allowed to stay in a deluxe room instead of an Executive studio room we paid for.

The washing machine is not working properly but this was later change in my course of stay at the hotel apartment. All the pots did not come with cover.

The guys working in the restaurant need to improve their English. They look impolite at times.

It was not an open buffet for breakfast.

The facilities such as the fridge, microwave oven and washing machine including iron were in excellent condition. The cleaning staff did a good job in cleaning or tidying up my room anytime. Finally ,the front desk lady,Ms.Norisel was exceptionally good at providing services and assistances tat my beck and call.

The kitchen utensils and cutleries are not adequate and the available ones do not come with cover.

Location is ok

It was old and needs refurbishment. I was apparently upgraded as well. Inadequate kitchenware. Towels in bathroom were scratchy. Asked for another 500ml bottle of drinking water and was quoted 10 dirhams - it costs 2 dirhams for 1.5L in the shop across the road. On checkout they insisted to check the room to ensure all their threadbare linen and decrepit kitchenware had not been stolen or damaged.

The hotel its self is very nice and comfortable with spacious and sound proof rooms apartment, bathroom & kitchen amenities are provided daily, the location is definetely what makes this hotel perfect, next to city center deira mall,metro, shops, restaurants and beauty saloon. It also offer parking facility.

Doesn't serve buffet breakfast.

The breakfast was the main issue at this hotel. We have paid for breakfast included. The price of the hotel was higher because of the breakfast.when we went there we were informed that we will not be served buffet breakfast while it was mentionned buffet when we booked. The restaurant attached to the hotel offered limited choice and was not welcoming. Everyday they serve the same thing. I think the hotel should refund us

Near city centre great location

No parking

The location of the hotel.Not far from the airport.

The hotel rooms are not clean, the room smell with lots of cigarettes smoke. The bathroom is not up to date.bathroom is broken, bathroom tub is leaking, kitchen oven is not working well.Kitchen sink is leaking. Livingroom furniture is very old.Room don't have Barcony.

The property is conveniently located and easy to access, making it perfect for our plans. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, providing a relaxing environment for our stay.
