Novotel Al Barsha Hotel

First I was told no rooms while 7 available. I waited 50 minutes for keys

I hated everything novotel was horrible experience i was raped there by Anwar and the receptionist ma nMo hot water i was refused breakfast I paid 404 DOLLARS. WANT MY MONEY BACK THE STAFF WAS VERY DIFFICULT

The beds very nice. Breakfeast is ok. Roomservice is very friendly but they are slow.

Reception staff , slow in service , I booked through booking with tax’s and when arrived they charged me more Reson given it is from booking. After waiting , staff called kospoo offered as an apartment room as big bed on arrive to room was full of dust , toilet with spots on shower area . Called the reception to talk to staff kospoo but didn’t call back , we went down and asked her to chage to initial booking twin beds and that took more than half hour wasted our time . When we was back to room the they didn’t shift my dress from locker I was tired and waited long more than half hour in mid night to bring my dress after calling the reception more than three times and toilets was no toilet accessories such as tooth brush and I called reception to get me tooth brush at least , the reception staff was asking what you need ! And on day check out more than half hour to get my bag down and when need brought it informed us till I went to reception and again the same staff kospoo saying it there and she asked us initially to wait to get bag . Very bad experience. Not recommending any one to book stay in this hotel

Staff and the buffet manager was rude in dealing with us. The quality of food was very bad and limited types of food.The room was smelly Window was broken during night time while we are sleeping

The restaurant is too small for the number of people. Same applies for the reception, long wait until you can speak to someone on reception. Shower room, the water comes out onto the bathroom floor when trying to take a shower.

I stayed there before and it was good, but this time they gave me a bad room and when changed to another room the TV was not working

The rooms are old, small, dirty and stinky. The bath is dirty and is having mold. The carpets were ok in one room and disgusting in the other. We were waiting 1.5 hours to get an extra bed.

The Emergency Alarm was triggered with red light and an annoying sound while sleeping for 5 seconds, I didn't sleep after this.

-The rent I paid was not for a connecting room.-Bathroom right next to the bed.-Bad water drainage in bathroom.-The room is very narrow and very cold.

The selection of food was very small. They had multi grain bread but they were always out.

The room service was terrible. They didn't come sometimes.

I had a very disappointing experience. Beside that I was in "Executive suite" which lacks glasses options or bottle opener.. etc, the house keeping didn't refill used coffee or bathroom amenity. Most importantly, during my stay I gave my formal clothes to the laundry service with a clear commitment from the hotel that they would be ready by the next day at 12:00 pm. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to deliver them on time, as they mentioned they send it to a 3rd party, i got them at 8pm! This caused me significant embarrassment, as I had to attend an important official meeting wearing my travel clothes, which were not clean.For a hotel of this category, such negligence is unacceptable. Guests rely on the professionalism and reliability of hotel services, especially when it comes to time-sensitive requests. Ofcourse there was no hotel manager to speak with, and the responsible supervisor failed to show for hours although I requested that many times! This incident negatively impacted my stay and my perception of the hotel.

From the moment I arrived, Basil went above and beyond to make my stay more than perfect. His warm attitude, constant smile, and genuine willingness to help—even after a long day—left a lasting impression on me and clearly reflects the professionalism of the hotel’s management.The facilities were excellent — from the comfortable rooms on the upper floors, to the delicious breakfast and dinner offerings. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged to ensure maximum comfort.Another big plus is the location: the hotel is very close to a metro station, which makes getting around the city incredibly easy. Taxis and other transport options are also readily available.Overall, this is a great place to stay in Dubai.
