Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort And Spa

We stayed in the two bed apartment , very big , well organized and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful from the house cleaning staff to the front desk , concierge and bell boy .

THE STEAK HOUSE RESTURANT WAS CRAP AND SERVICE WAS LOUSY ..WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

People who worked there seemed very nice and helpful.

Carpets were wet when I checked into the room.my socks became wet while I walked around. Balcony wasn't cleaned properly and for me the worst part was that the hot water RAN OUT mid bath/shower. This was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Room temperature water continued for the following hour. When I complained they said they would send a repair man to my room which I opted out of as I was already in pajamas and just wanting to relax. Also there was no shampoo or soaps near bathtub-- given that the ones in the shower are bolted to the wall, this was super inconvenient. My advice: try another hotel on the palm for a similar price to get what you are paying for!

The half board / full board system is a bet messy U can have breakfast in the restaurant but if u want to order it to the room u have to pay the full price Restaurants’ menus for the half board are limited And sometimes they don’t offer u a full menu, they offer u a deduction from ur bill which equal sometimes to the price of a salad ?

Facilities and beach

It was a great overall experience. However, for someone paying AED 3,000 for a single night, I would have expected a bit more flexibility with the checkout time. The lady at reception firmly insisted on a 1:00 pm checkout, even though I initially requested 2:00 pm and later just 1:30 pm. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of my stay.

The arrangement of meals is not well organized.. despite booking half board.. there were many conditions to have my dinner.

My room was sea view, however, it was extremely noisesy from the street next to the hotel. No proper sound proof.

We like everything. people in Sofitel The Palm was very friendly and our Suite is very huge. I can highly recommend Sofitel the Palm Suite if your travelling with your family.

I received a princess treatment! They are attentive to small details. The staff were welcoming, joyful, and ready to serve you whenever they can. Everyone is happy and content. My room was exceptionally wonderful along the view. I truly had a luxurious experience and refreshing retreat.

The location is kinda far from downtown so you may need to rent a car to go around Dubai.

The property was charming with lots of greenery and outdoor spaces. The facilities were excellent and the staff very friendly and polite

Ritvik, the duty manager, efficiently fulfilled his responsibilities by graciously offering to relocate us to a room in the main building, which greatly exceeded our initial accommodations.

The initial apartment we were assigned was in poor condition, outdated, and not well-maintained. When I called the staff to request a room change to a one-bedroom unit due to the inconvenience of sleeping in separate rooms with my children, I was informed that this was the accommodation I had booked.

The hairdresser was far too expensive for coloring and facial I spent 2000 AED. I think that is not the right but value for the service I received.

Flexibility - little empathy shown for a request for an early check in request. Incorrect room allocated when they finally did and we needed to doublecheck and then it was corrected.

In last nights of my booking before chick out they cancel for me dinner ,half board

The hotel is very dirty and disgusting , the parking has sewage and dirty toilet paper ? on floors and dropping from the ceiling and we had to step on it to get to our rooms and car . The first day we got to the room and it wasn’t cleaned or ready at all . There was not enough toilet paper and didnt prepare the bathrooms as it should be in 5 stars hotel/ resort in dubai the palm!!! The secong day we went to the reception and told them that there is sewage in the parking and its dirty and we are steping in shit and then going to the room and its disgusting ! They did nothing about it .Our third day we went again to the reception and told them again about the rooms not cleaned , mopped and the parking , we told them”basel” at the reception , and he take care of it , he did send people to clean , but at the same time the parking had sewage on floors and disgusting . There is sewage smell all over the pools and our side of the hotel named “ kora 2” we were in room 8201.At 8:30 am there is laud noises from the cleaning rooms that awaked us . We are really really disappointed and we didn’t expect to come to a 5 stars resort in “DUBAI” in the palm and get this BAD experience !!We don’t recommend the hotel at allThe only thing that’s good is the breakfast!!

All of it , its not clean at allThe first day there was hairs and sand on the shower floors We found red spots on the bed sheets .The soap and shampoo bottles was old and 1/3 filled The room is very very very old , bad furniture that seemed like dirty looking

What an amazing location and area so peaceful and I can’t even describe how happy this place makes us. Our stays are always marvelous, the breakfast is outstanding, we always love coming to this beautiful resort it’s almost like our second home. We have stayed here over 15 times in the past 2 years and we love coming here.
