Garden City Hotel

All staff were very polite and friendly.

This hotel is located at a very busy area. Even during weekends, it's really hard to find a public parking spot in all nearby streets. There are a couple of private parkings nearby at 10 AED per hour.The hotel owns two paid parking spots right in front of the building at a better price. We booked one of them. Still, we had the experience of someone else parking on our spot and we had to wait 30-45 minutes until hotel could find the car owner and remove their car.

The staffs were so kind and helpful The room was well equipped and it has an acceptable access to the transportation system

Visitors are not allowed in the rooms. Room service is slow, the rooms are not clean, and the staff’s behavior is unpleasant

You have very bad service washroom are not clean, only single towel given for two persons very worst service not recommended for any others

The hotel was actually super clean, and had everything we needed, very affordable price for being Dubai.

The neighborhood is not really nice, it can feel creepy at times as it’s full of working men who can be a bit staring and you feel like an outsider because there are zero tourists in the area.The metro stop is about 15-20 walk, which was a bit of a hassle, next time Id book a hotel like this if it’s within closer proximity of the red line.

Location was a little but tough although no parking was written but I didn’t think it would be difficult to that it extentHowever they also provided us with parking in front of the hotel which was very convenient

Garden City is located a short 15-minute walk from the Dubai Gold Souk and 20-minute walk from the Spice Souq. They have a restaurant on site and breakfast is included in the stay but I had an early morning flight so cannot attest to the quality of the breakfast. The room has complimentary bottled water, tea and Nescafé for free; a small minibar of soda, juice and snacks are also in the room but are not free. The WiFi works well, the shower pressure was great and the Air conditioner worked well. And during my stay the staff were very friendly and helpful - so far as they helped me print out my visa approval letter that I needed for traveling to my next destination.

What came as surprise to me was the security deposit for the room - a credit card on file is not accepted as it is at most other hotels and Garden City Hotel requires a 150 AED cash refundable deposit that you get back upon check out. During the booking process, there was no mention of anything regarding a cash deposit.

It was cleaner and maintained than I expected. Staff were friendly.

Room service was slow. Bed was de-shaped. Too much noise from the corridor as it was all tiled not carpeted

Room were big enough as we expected for the family of 5 people

Breakfast could have better options specially when most of the visitors are Indians..room bed not good need to change immidiately.

It was very clean and the staff were very friendly and polite and very helpful especially Steve, Vignesh and Deborah.

I feel the lunch and Dinner Menu should have included a variety of food.

Bad

I stayed at Garden City Hotel Dubai with my friend from September 21 to 24.The breakfast was very poor, and the room service was also bad.Although we booked a twin room, they gave us a double room and later added an uncomfortable extra bed, saying that no twin rooms were available.Even though we were two people, the room was prepared for only one guest — there was only one glass, one pair of slippers, one towel.Overall, the service and room arrangement were disappointing.

Hotel was good for the price

Musty smell was really bad and suffocating for me in the first two days but easily attended to by spraying air fresheners when reported, the first night, I left my window opened all night. Smell was fair but still had to leave with the musty smell. No intercontinental breakfast varieties, same cereals (only cornflakes and choco-flakes cereal. Breakfast could be better with variety

Room was good and AC was perfect as aspected

Bell boy service was poor, waited so long to come and assist us as having so many luggage and is very hot outside the gate.

Accessible and all the staff are very professional and approachable they are all very friendly

I had an extremely wonderful stay here

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt very safe throughout my visit. However, the room was smaller than I expected. Overall, a good experience for a short stay.

While I was staying, two staff members knocked on my door unexpectedly, and I didn't quite understand why. It made me feel a little uncomfortable. It would have been nice if there had been fewer interruptions.

The hotel was good. The staff members are cordial and co-operative. Mr.Vignesh was very friendly, cordial and helpful while we had our breakfast everyday. Breakfast was good. Mr.Moorthy in the front desk was also helpful.

The only complaint is that the bathroom was very slippery and there was no hold for elderly people if they skid. I being a 61 woman felt this in the hotel.
