A frustrating and disappointing experience with Terminal 1 Sleepover at Dubai International Airport

Booking.com did not provide an adequate description of the Sleepover Terminal 1 accommodation, notifying passengers of the restriction of access and use of this accommodation to only connecting passengers that remained within the terminal. Further the confirmation of booking provided by Booking.com also did not contain or make clear these details. As a result of leaving Terminal 3 Arrivals to access the accommodation via Terminal 1, airport authorities would not provide access unless cheaked-in for the next flight, which was not possible as the flight's cheak-in desk was not due to open for another 7 hours. I called 'Sleepover Terminal 1' accommodation immediately to explain and request cancellation which they were happy to do but not issue a refund! Even though they had several vacant rooms!

I honestly think it was one of the best experiences. Even though DXB is one of the busiest airports, the area was surprisingly quiet and relaxing. A perfect place for a sleepover.

Nothing I didn’t like, but you have to manage your expectations. It’s a capsule, not a 5-star resort. It’s perfect for lying down, checking your phone, and getting some sleep — nothing more.

Peaceful and clean environment The staff were very kind and friendly especially Ehsan.

For the price, the room should be much better. It is not really soundproof, doesn’t have a tv or even a night light next to the bed. It only had the room’s lights switch next to the door so it was either all lights on or complete darkness. The toilets are outside the hotel, you have to use the public airport toilets and I believe they should have some inside the hotel. I stayed 8 hours and had to pay for the shower… I think if you stay over x amount of hours the shower should be complimentary. And even though I paid I didn’t get a face towel and the l hair dryer they gave me didn’t have a working hot air option. I stayed in much better or worth it capsule hotels in other airports.

Comfortable and cozy place

Too small need to make a bit space other than bed, also very bright lights there should be secondary lighting which should be dimmer.

The time I was given was not received. I booked room according to my flight arriving until next departure. And I was clearly approved my special request. The email i received clearly states the date on top from Apr 22nd /Apr 23rd. Time states 1900 - 2000.When I get there, they said it was approved only arrival time from 1900 to 2000 untill 2300 Apr 22nd. not the full time of 9hrs. I was given whatsapp number to contact and other side the person also said I only approved arrival time not check out time..so I will get only 3 hrs sleep.

Location is 20-30 minutes away from the main international terminals! Be aware about it. There is only transfer by bus available, runs every ~20 min.

Once there we did sleep which was refreshing - bed was comfortable.

It was very difficult to find. I accidentally booked a place in a terminal that was not connected to our flights- so quite confusing to get from one terminal to another with poor direction from the company .?

Literally just a bed that takes up the entire room. We booked this when we were in Dubai as we had a late flight and thought we would be able to check into the airport early and sleep before the flight. As our check-in only opened 3 hours before departure we were unfortunately unable to use the room other than for 45 minutes before our plane departed but if we were actually IN TRANSIT and had read the description better, this would have been a great option. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE IN TRANSIT (already in the airport) as their information states! It is a great option for people in transit

Be aware!!!

We were looking for a place to sleep before our hotel check-in at 16h. Booked this place at 3 am after getting out of the flight and grabbing some food. Google maps, using the address in this ad, kept showing it was 12min away by car so we took an Uber. After going around for more than 60min the Uber driver couldn't find the place. Turns out, it's actually INSIDE the airport, past security. We were already out and there was no way of getting back in. It was not clear at all with the ad and the address here! This should be strongly stated. They refused to refund us!

Ideal for a long stop over in terminal 1, especially after a "red eye" flight. Small and basic but comfortable. There was relatively little noise when I was there for a late afternoon til evening slot. Check in was smooth and the receptionist was welcoming.

It was difficult to find! It needs better sign posting within the terminal but also at the entrance, which is hidden behind a travelator - between D gates 6 and 7. The reception/receptionist should highlight the need to be quiet and respectful to all incoming guests. The walls are just to thin and any talking in the corridor is heard loudly in the rooms, especially those nearest reception.

I think they overcharged money I am happy to pay 20 pounds but 60 pounds is waste of money so I prefer tp refund my money

Bed was comfortable. Good there was a blanket too. Place was clean.

Was difficult locating the place. Had to use public toilets nearby. Staff were nice, but could be nicer.

Only thing to like is the location close to the gate

Absolutely overpriced for what is offered. There are not even washing facilities / toilets. Charging the price of a premium hotel for a little box and on top you have to use the terminal toilets! The walls of the facility are probably made of paper - we could even hear the guy in the next room breath! People kept arriving and leaving all night which kept us up all night.

We booked on Terminal 1 but our flight landed on Terminal 3 (check before booking) but the staff on Terminal 3 were so helpful to try to accommodate us the near as possible.
