Cleanliness- didn’t find it clean

The staff were very helpful (our extended family stayed elsewhere but they still allowed us to borrow 3 extra umbrellas for them) The room facilities were great, the heater was very effective.

The staff was very helpful, went out of their way to be helpful. The room was large and very comfortable, although one bed was a little too soft, however, it may have been meant for a child.. Loved the fact that when we looked out the window, we were surrounded by ferns. The kitchenette was well stocked.

The layout of the accommodation - felt spacious compared to other places we’d stayed. Having a portable fan was appreciated. Great location.

This is an updated and roomy property with a small kitchenette. The operators are very friendly. The location is excellent, within a five minute walk to all the restaurants and activities. Parking is easy and plentiful, and right outside your room.

Clean, spacious and comfortable, nice small back porch for a small dinner or breakfast. Good location. Quiet.

Punga Grove was an excellent place to stay in Franz Josef. The rooms were clean and well appointed. It's not fancy, but the fine touches make it clear that staff cares about customer experience. The kitchen area was small but met our needs nicely. Franz Josef is not a large town, but Punga Groves proximity to restaurants and groceries is excellent ... leave the car parked!

I wish the room had streaming services for nighttime viewing, but that's a small luxury when visiting such a beautiful area.

Very nice room, clean, and comfortable bed. Great location, walkable to stores and restaurants. Friendly staff. Especially good for longer stays with the kitchenette.

Rooms are big and comfortable. Fireplace in the room and the forest at our terrace are a very good match.

This is a good Motel in a good location.

I didn't specifically dislike anything but the configuration with the open upstairs bedroom is not as good as one which can be closed off.

Large comfortable room with lovely outlook onto trees & plants. Friendly staff. Room was quiet despite being fairly close to the road.

Not a thing it was perfect!

In a great spot with an easy walk to anywhere in town. Good size room with good cooking facilities. Free sky movies channels a bonus on a cold rainy night.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable with both sides seeming to roll to the outside like they've been well worn in.
