Franz Josef TOP 10 Holiday Park

The location was close to town and the cabin was nice. They even provided blankets in the family room.

There was not a soap dispenser in one of the bathrooms.

Quiet and relaxing with plenty of space. Very easy self check in and great location.

Other more upscale places were sold out so this was our backup planThat being said, it was not great value for what it was And I especially didn’t love being attacked by the receptionist after coming back from a workout outside to be asked if I was a random person sneaking in to use their showers for free

Good accomodation for couple and just affordable

We booked two accommodations for a group of 5, an en-suite for a couple and a 2 bed apartment for 3 singles. Location was convenient for Franz Josef Glacier related activities and hikes. The two bed room apartment we booked was spacious and well appointed, it was convenient to have two bathrooms. The reception graciously accommodated our late check in request after their office hour times as we had a full day of activities planned.

While the 2 bedroom apartment was clean, the en-suite had stains all around the carpet and bedding, and the bed was sagging noticeable, quite uncomfortable. Unfortunately we were not able to get a room change due to lack of vacancy.Also the laundry facility had two washers and one dryer which was inconvenient as the dryer is a bottleneck—would be great to add another dryer.

The room was great, clean, beds were comfortable.

Cabin was a good size and had all the necessary equipment. Staff were very helpful.

Location was fabulous with view of the surrounding snowcapped mountains and easy access to all local activities and sights. Facilities and accomodation perfect for me with easy parking by the side of the cabin. Laundry facilities great. Comprehensive information provided for local activities and facilities.

Big park, quiet location. Our unit conveniently next door to our allocated kitchen.. Handy to town.

Room was a bit cramped, as was the bathroom.

Location was good and this is our sort of first stay in a holiday park . It was a new experience and may be we got what we paid for. No luxury just comfortable. We missed a separate fridge or microwave in the room.

Room clean & lovely. Bedding cozy. Bit cold but had 2 heaters. Plenty of pwerpoints. Bathroom/shower superb. Showers amazing

The room was very clean and comfortable . The location was lovely and quiet with good facilities in the park.

The bathroom was compact and hand basin was small with a glass shelf above it which made cleaning one’s teeth tricky.

Shared facilities were good. Great shared kitchen was very clean and shared unisex bathroom facilities were clean. Clean and comfortable bed.

Small and no sink or fridge in the room or bedside tables which would have been useful.

Comfortable beds, warm room. Helpful and friendly advice from person at reception. Fine for a night.

Bad smell in the bathroom (stayed in an ensuite room in the lodge) due to poor ventilation. Room on the smaller size for the price compared to similarly priced rooms we'd stayed in.

Check in and location are excellent. The room itself is fine for what you pay. The grounds are clean and you do have access to a communal kitchen with refrigerator. Clean linnen and towels.

The bath room shower was showing its age and could be cleaner. It did make me feel like I was on a high school trip....

We arrived late, just after Reception had closed but the Manager had organized our key, WIFI instructions and a map of the park. The Studio ensuite room was spacious, light, bright and clean. The beds were comfortable, a single and a double. The kitchen had all necessary utensils, but we only made our breakfast so only needed toaster and kettle. The laundry facilities were close to our room. It's a big park and there were two laundries. I enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying there.
