Great Amenities. The daily soup and coffee machine are a major plus. Hot showers. You can reserve hot tub for an hour which is nice. Lots of communal space for cooking. Room was small and bathroom very small, but it was fine.

It was good with nice comfy beds and a kitchenette.

The door handles were not proper for the bathroom and also the room was located on the third floor.

Wow what a surprise gem! We booked it last minute because it started raining so hard and we were so glad we did. Great value for a clean communal kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed and our studio room was really comfy and large for 2. Loved using the hot tub to ourselves for a bit as well.

The location and the atmosphere we're great. Love having a hot tub. The shelves in out room help with organization. The huge shared kitchen with lots of seating.

The rooms are very small. The doors are loud.

The property is in a great location with many perks (soup, muffins, coffee, bikes, hot tub, etc) and kind staff.

The photos were a bit deceptive to me as the shared spaces were smaller than they appeared in the photos. I enjoyed there being a hot tub and was asked on arrival to make a reservation. I was incredibly disappointed that my reservation was not honored and another guest was booked over our time.

We stayed in one of the double rooms with attached bathroom. Clean and well maintained, conveniently located with good late checkin.

Bathroom sinks are a little small. Otherwise no complaints.

Adorable bedroom with all the facilities you need. We arrived late and had forgotten about the free soup so didn't get any -but everything else was perfect. Parking is limited though and so we had to do street parking down the road,

The bathroom sink/tap makes it impossible to wash your face without splashing water on the floor. If you can add a note to the keybox about the free soup, it would've been a welcome gift since we arrived pretty late & tired.

The facilities in general and the room were very clean and modern. Also the toilet and shower were very clean. It was nice to have a heater in the room, because it was raining and a bit cold outside. I did not use the kitchen and shared dining area, but it also looked very nice.

The only thing to mention here is that the rooms are not very soundproofed. But after 10 pm it was very quiet in the building.

One huge bonus is the full community kitchen where you can cook whatever. Muffins on arrival. Great Spa, Ten percent discount on participating local restaurants. Easy walk to main street. Outdoor workout facilities. Exciting atmosphere with lots of fun and interesting travelers.

Be prepared for a smaller compact style room and bathroom.

Super well run motel/backpacker accommodation. We had a small private room, very clean with comfortable bed and linens. The thing that makes this property memorable is the staff and the atmosphere they create, we had a complimentary muffin on arrival, soup in the afternoon, coffee and popcorn as well.

Such a welcoming place to stay, has all the amenities you would want and so close to shops and restaurants. The staff are so warm and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Check in process was simple. Very kind staff. We borrowed 2 bikes from the hostel and cycled to the start of the Glacier walkways and back. Room was clean and modern. Toilet facilities were shared, but was clean and had good showers. I really was impressed with the kitchen/lounge space. Really nice to cook and clean in. Had a coffee machine which we really enjoyed. Comfy couches downstairs. Walking distance around Franz Josef, we saw a kea fly pass when we arrived!

Slightly noisy when others stayed up late on our second night. Downstairs had lots of lights/ large TVs which seemed to be on all day/night even when people not using them. I wonder for sustainability reasons if this could be amended.

Very comfy, good-sized room with a view of the forest and mountains. Smooth check-in and helpful staff, including prompt laundry service. The fee cafés and restaurants in the village are a short walk away. Short drive to trails and sights.

Amazing hostel! Best facilities we have seen. We have had some technical issues but the staff was fast to respond and upgrades us.

Wow! This place is amazing. Lovely stuff, comfy rooms and kitchen, and very clean. My stay felt like a treat — they had popcorn, soup, and hot chocolate with marshmallows! Great value for money and a perfect location.

This was such a cozy good vibe and the bed was quality with quality sheets. There was attention paid to everything not to forget the jacuzzi and Netflix!

I emailed the staff a request and they didn't bother answering until after I extended my stay so the question was moot by this point
