58 On Cron Motel

Calm, clean and close to restaurants by walking

Franz Josef is a small town, the hotel was close to supermarket and restaurants/pubs. Amazing virw from the motel and ample space to park and stay.

Immaculately clean and modern

Bed was soft

Really lovely accommodation, staff, rooms and location were all fabulous. Easy parking right next to your room. Very clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend as one of the best locations we stayed at during our trip around New Zealand.

Nothing. Everything was excellent.

Room was excellent, very clean with good amenities. Staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful.

Very Clean and comfortable. Great Location. Above all, amazing hosts. Kudos to Graham and Sheryl for making us feel so welcomed and always willing to help.

The property was conveniently located and the staff were super nice and friendly. The room was very clean as well!

Extremely clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice. Little kitchen has everything you need. Right by wildlife center.

Everything was fantastic.

Location is out of the city centre but an easy walk into the centre and close to bush walks nearby. The facilities are well maintained and clean.

The owners were so kind and friendly. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown all the places we should visit in town on a map. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay and both agreed the friendliness of the owners made our day.

Clean, spacious, decent kitchenette . Nice renovated bathroom . Close to all amenities

The mattress was way too soft. No support at all

Easy access to town. Friendly staff

Bed very soft and low

Clean, comfortable room. Well appointed. Quiet and private. Walking distance from resturants/town centre.

Nothing specific

A lovely place to stay. The management were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. The views of the mountains were spectacular from everywhere.

Nice and clean. Near to city centre. Got local suggestions as well while doing check-in.

Very cozy motel in Franz Josef, close to the everything. It is a bit on the side of the business area, so it is nice and quiet. The host was really friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Free umbrellas were provided (which is great as it rains a lot and umbrellas are impossible to pack). The room was modern and large, and everything we needed was there. Very clean. Also nice and warm on a cold and rainy night. Check-in was easy, with no issues. It is a few minutes drive from the start of the glacier walk, and within a block or two from the start of various other trails. Very nice stay.

I met the owners Cheryl and Graham and had a great long engaging conversation. They were very helpful with local and national travel information and insights. Close to everything.

Nice clean hotel, seems new. Well maintained. Had washer and dryer for guests. Good location. Very nice staff.

No complaints.

Easy to find

Simple layout, good pricing.

Very clean space, and centrally located. The staff were adorable and gave us a lot of advice about what to do!

Nothing, it was great!
