great quiet location, motel was very spacious and bed very comfy, would stay there again, walking distance to town and hot pools and the walk to conical hill was amazing with fantastic views at the top, worth doing.

Use of laundry area was perfect, parking right outside, room had all necessities. Bed little harder than I like but still clean.
Bed too hard
The Forest Peak Motel was warm, clean and very comfortable. Located close enough to the centre of town for only a 10 minute walk to the thermal pools and restaurants. We enjoyed our brief stay and will definitely stay there when visiting the town again.

The motel is showing its age and could do with some modernisation. We do not see this as a criticism more as a comment on its condition. It was very adequate for our purposes.
