The rooms were very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The room was clean and tidy

Very little services. You rated 4 stars (!). Maybe 3 on a good day. It’s a Motel not a hotel.

We were short for choice as Hanmer was busy. Our room was set up for disabled persons. The shower set up meant the entire bathroom got wet. It was ok for the one night. But we paid the highest price for average accommodation. Quite a distance from town.

Double rooms are quite small for 2 adults. Only stayed 1 night but wouldn't be suitable for a longer stay.

Clean and tidy. Good to be slightly out of town where its a bit quieter and easy access to the forest walks

Good but felt very cramped apartment .

The person working there gave to much information on cost for different things that was brought for the hotel that wasn't really information that customers need to know about.

Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful proprietors good location. Old school NZ motel would certainly stay again.

Perhaps a little dated but the bathroom had recently been upgraded. Only stayed one night, it served us well.

Didn't like not having a proper sink. However with only breakfast guess not a big deal. Plenty to pay for such a small space, but certainly clean and comfortable.

The room was clean and functional. The best part about the motel was "Floyd The Cat"

It was further from town than I thought it was. The room was small and a queen bed and a single bed were squashed in.

The exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The room was comfortable. We were even provided towels for the Hot Springs (which are not part of the motel).

Great spot on the edge of town. A nice walk into town centre. Staff we're extremely friendly and accommodating for our group. Like that this motel is pet friendly too.

It was 32 degrees when we got there so air con is something to be considered. There was a fan available thankfully as sleep was difficult in that heat.

Clean and tidy, had everything we needed

TV was tiny, shower over bath so shower head way to low, I had to bend in half just to get my head under the water.Our room was right next to the road, where it changes from 50-70 km/h, so traffic noise was very loud with cards accelerating or braking.

Location a little out of town but ok. Compact units. Had everything you needed

Starting to look a little tired. Air extractor didn't work. Window overlooking the back of the property very dirty. Unit door lock badly worn. Not easy to get it to lock. Some weeds shoeing in the concrete paving parking area.

We booked 2 rooms for a family of 5. Rooms were nice enough, large bathrooms, rooms quite small. No stove top but portable ones available from reception.

Cleanliness and location

No table to eat on, no cooking facilities, tv should have been on the wall at the end of the bed and should have been bigger, and should have had two chairs for comfort.

Staff were fantastic and location was convenient to the walking trails

Rooms were really cramped and a little overpriced for what you're offered, particularly if its hot and humid
