The peaceful and quiet environment, the beautify settings of the resort with many beautidul plants and flowers all around. The Kobe Cusine is good.

Booked breakfast in advanced but was not acknowledge when we entered the Clubhouse restaurant. The breakfast was expensive with limited selections. Machine dispensed coffee was ot included.

    great room and amazing bed

Room not serviced despite mentioning to staff that we wanted our room serviced

This place is so beautiful. It was better than I expected. The Mountain views, the golf course, the restaurants and gardens. It all took our breath away.

Check in was excellent. The restaurant Kobe was excellent. Our suite was a good size and the bathroom was very nice! Good size and quality televisions are always appreciated. Great location

The fellow that helped us with our luggage was clearly unwell, he coughed a lot and his voice sounded like he was ill. He shouldn't have been dealing with guests up close. The room service options were poor and the fact that one couldn't order desert was very disappointing. I didn't like the armchairs either, I have a poor back so prefer a straight more upright backrest. The garden staff and greenskeepers start up their machinery very early, making it hard to sleep in the mornings

    Nice and spacious and clean.

Power plug in the bathroom was too low. Couldn’t use the hair dryer while standing up.

    9PamelaPosted on: 4-22-2025

View over the lake on our balcony.

We unfortunately were both ill when we arrived, and navigating the stairs was a little difficult. The room service options were somewhat limited, but what we ordered was very tasty.

Nice accommodations; wonderful shower; quiet, serene, and beautiful location on a golf course with striking surrounding mountains. 3 restaurants on property. We visited two and were very happy with the quality of the food and service. Close to Arrowtown with on-demand shuttles. Also had shuttles to Queenstown. Loved having a french press with freshly ground coffee in-room.

We loved walking the trails around Millbrook and wandered to Ayrburn, Mora and down to lake Hayes. We had great service at the restaurants we ate at and our room was clean and tidy.

The scenery is absolutely spectacular. The resort is absolutely stunning.

The staff were not particularly helpful. My room was not cleaned until about 6pm in the evening, which was surprising. We also had an incident at 2am (we were at a wedding, where all the guests were staying, so Millbrook was profiting heavily from it) where two (young, female) wedding guests were unable to get a taxi home. Their accommodation was a 3 minute drive from the resort. However, the Millbrook staff refused to give them a ride, which resulted in them waiting for a taxi for over an hour and getting home at 4am. This seemed completely unreasonable, and unsafe.

Beautiful room, great location, great restaurants and lovely staff

    Quiet and clean

Food at the restaurants isn’t good

    10MiklosPosted on: 2-18-2025

Everything! Even staff are happy to work there, which was really good to hear!??Accidentally broke a glass, but was taken care of without worries!

The toilet that was by the entrance, didn't have a bassinet to wash hands, we had to walk in the room to the bathroom on the other side of the room to wash hands.

The staff were amazing and very attentive, nothing was a problem at all. It was great to have the pool, spas and restaurants all right there. It was my birthday and there were some chocolates and a card when we arrived. The staff will take you into Queenstown, Arrowtown or Ayrburn on the shuttle all completely which was great. The restaurant was incredible. The flavours of my lamb did a dance in my mouth, out standing food and absolute credit to the chef. The peace and quiet was wonderful.

The pool and spa area needs a glamorous upgrade they look a wee bit tired. We understand paying a premium for our room as it’s the whole atmosphere that you are getting but I feel the rooms (deluxe studio) could do with a bit of upgrade as well. The bed was a bit hard so even a mattress topper would have been nice.

Great range of facilities. Spacious accommodation. Amazing views. Great location near Arrowtown and local eateries and vineyards such as Ayrburn. Gym and spa excellent. Bike hire and tips very helpful.

Attempted to change nights from 3 to 2. Unable to change dates successfully on your app. Contacted Millbrook approx 2 weeks before dates but was told to go back to Booking.comI told reception on arriving that we were staying 2 nights only. She said she would sort it out. On leaving, was charged for the 3rd we didn't stay. This was $620.00 to Millbrook even though they had been informed several weeks earlier. I was not impressed.

    7MaxPosted on: 1-25-2025

    very attentive helpful staff ?

room service menu very limited options all restaurants fully booked so we had to go to arrow town for food

    8CarolPosted on: 1-18-2025

It was based on an English village. The accommodation was varied and had lovely gardens and stream.

There was no hand basin in the toilet. A little too far to walk into Arrowtown.Reception staff seemed to have ideas of grandeur and were not particularly welcoming. However, restaurant and bar staff were most accommodating.
